Coffee Latte made my stop at this lovely coffee shop; ‘coffee latte’ tasted pretty much alike the ones I make at home which is good! However, I am always looking for something better than what I can make, I also got this SUPER delicious homemade egg & chorizo burrito it was fenomenal! Highly recommended!

Great little spot! Besides Starbucks and McDonald’s, this is the only coffee shop in the area that is open early in the morning. 6am on weekdays, 7am weekends. They also have a drive through.

The employees were so nice and made sure people weren’t frustrated with the long line. The bacon burritos were awesome, the Chiles are spicy which is essential for me, and they were really big and filling. We also got some danishes. And I’ve never been huge on danishes but now I realize it’s because I’ve never had GOOD danishes. Haven’t had the raspberry ones yet but the cheese Danish was AMAZING. Taos Java is now a must visit in Taos for me.

Absolutely wonderful on all accounts. The staff was so sweet and took pictures of our floofy white dog and gave her two treats. We ended up getting the green chili burrito at the recommendation of the staff helping us. It was as amazing as he said. Our only regret is that we didn’t either order 3 more for the road or bite into it earlier so we could have gone back for more. It is the highlight food of our trip!!!

Stopped here today on my way to Colorado Springs. It was a challenging day for them. A truck broke down in their drive thru. There also was a little staff bickering moment and a sudden rush slammed them at the counter. Yet, they did ALL they could to mitigate the issues, service their customers and put them first. I had a nice iced caramel macchiato and a green chili burrito. Satisfying for sure. It also was an absolute pleasure to sit and chat with Clark, the owner of Taos Java. It’s these little encounters that I love about traveling in my truck across the country. All the best. Clark!

Visited on a whim on our way out of town when a coffee shop closer to our hotel was closed and so glad we did! It is literally the most homey and comfortable little place. The 3 ladies working were welcoming and helpful when choosing our items, and went out of their way to provide great service even after we sat at our table even though they seem to be a counter service operation. The breakfast burritos and pastries were unexpectedly delicious and the coffee was divine! We had a hot espresso drink, an iced coffee, and a drip coffee and all were amazing. I really liked that they had a loyal customer recognition wall, and we heard them ring a bell a few times while we were there. I knew it was going to be good as soon as we walked in, and it did not disappoint. We will be sure to stop in whenever we are in Taos.

Best coffee in the US. After the Maoz team denied the motel’s breakfast we found this great early morning place. Enjoyed the owners friendly attitude and a great sandwich

Such incredible thoughtful service. I ordered nothing special, and no problems, and every lovely woman in the joint was effervescently kind and thoughtful.

First timer in Taos and Taos Java. Was looking for a comfortable coffee shop for breakfast and I found it! Great coffee, friendly service. I noticed everyone was ordering the breakfast burritos so inquired. I was promised they were good and fresh. Wow did it deliver! Spicy southwest breakfast goodness. My standards are, anything that makes my nose run yet I can’t stop eating it is 5 star food. If they had a chorizo option I’d have to relocate here.

Our favorite coffee stop in Taos! Everyone is so welcoming and nice! The breakfast burritos are the best we’ve found in Taos! The atmosphere is like a warm hug with Clark & Tanya greeting you and Brenda’s Caramel Macchiato, which is the best anywhere! And they even have a free library with spiritual/self-help books!
