Great food. Service has come a long way, and they actually seat you now, which is great. They had turned us away 4 times in the past once before 8 pm even. They have added lots of seats outside now.

More like 3.5? I am a seeker of tacos, a taco connoisseur. It’s my destiny to find the best taco in AA and TAQ does not have them. Everything was ok, but nothing was great and I did get a stomach ache. The best taco I had was the tofu taco, and the only one I’d get if I came back. The guacamole was ok but lacked the pizazz I like (ie chunks of tomato and onion, cilantro, etc). And I was hurt that they only have Pepsi and not Coke products. Mexican brownie was good but again, not great.

Ok I finally got a chance to try TAQ. So pulled up for late lunch. We ordered tacos and some chips with pico and chips with elote dip. The elote and Pico were very good. The tacos were big but just tasted ok. They don’t have flour tortillas just corn. I am very picky about corn tortillas. I like them fried with a little oil to make them crispy. It’s the way I grew eating them in saginaw area were there is huge Mexican population. So because the tortillas weren’t fried they tasted dry and pasty to me. So otherwise if you like tacos than this is the place for you.

Varried menu with lots of options for meat eaters and non meat eaters alike. Lots of FRESH flavors. Some of the best nachos I’ve ever had. Really reasonable prices! Also the outdoor seating was so nice. And we got called faster than expected. I really like that they have the option to have it wrapped in lettuce instead of a taco shell.

Tried this place for date night a few weeks back and felt it was good but overpriced and a bit overrated. I ordered a variety of tacos to try and a appetizer of chips and salsa. The tacos were good but not great. The yogurt taco stood out most with the creativity but price was $5 a taco. Chips were very thick and stuck together. Salsa was on a spicy side but good. Overall I probably wouldn’t go back because I have had better for less but great experience from the staff and clean place.

Our favorite and go-to taco place to in Ann Arbor! The taco flavors are unique, flavorful, and presented wonderfully! For the amount of toppings and quality of the ingredients you get, they’re a great value. The nachos are also an awesome choice! Always have yummy and new cocktails with fresh ingredients and the service is always great!

Just had some very good tacos sitting outside on the patio at Taq on 10/12/23. Exceptional service and the tacos are great.

TAQ is just an okay spot for tacos- definitely not great or friendly service. Especially if you have kids. I much prefer to visit more authentic Mexican restaurants- and all of them have much better experiences (both food and service). This spot is nice for location in summer months and maybe for a decent drink, but I don’t recommend.

This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. We had a few margaritas and cocktails, all of which were good. We started with chips and salsa verde, which wasn’t as hot as we expected and had great flavor. We ordered the Barbacoa, Sésamo, Thai, Verde, Griego, Frito, and Carnitas, and they were all amazing. By far, my favorite was the carnitas, but all of them were delicious. I, personally, love that everything is a taco and it’s all a la carte. We could have gotten away with only two tacos each, because they’re a decent size, especially having had the chips and salsa, but we really wanted to try more of them
