Was so excited to try this place, I went on their second day open during lunch rush! Not surprisingly for their second day, they did get little overwhelmed. However, they pushed through the rush and our orders were correct, and everything was absolutely delicious! I ordered three tacos (fish, mushroom, and chorizo), cowboy beans, and chips & salsa shared with a friend. I can’t wait to go back and try more items from their menu! Tacos are my favorite! I will definitely be a regular! (Also, please have patience with them as they are just opening and working through all the kinks and their food is worth it!)

When it comes to tacos, it’s hard to go wrong, but my expectations were highly exceeded after eating here for the first time. The corn tortillas are the best I have ever had. Huntington is very lucky to have a place so good with a great atmosphere, great service, and amazing food. I am eager to return again and again until I try everything on the menu!

Best tacos in Huntington. The carnitas were phenomenal and the fish tacos were great as well. Enjoyed the options of dipping sauces on the side. They also have sealed take away margaritas that are large and great! Good vegetarian options on the menu as well.

As a native Californian transplant to WV, I assumed my days of enjoying fresh, taco-truck style Mexican food were numbered… until Taqueria 84 opened. I’ve eaten in a few times and just got a party catered with al pastor and steak tacos, rice, beans, chips and salsa – the food’s fresh, delicious and worthy of its own taco truck (future idea guys?). Thanks for keeping us well fed with the best Mexican food in the Huntington area!

Huntington has produced a lot of hit and miss restaurants during our stay. I’ll be honest, I was hesitant about trying this place just because of our luck the past few days. I was proven wrong immediately! We were quickly greeted and given plenty of time to look at the menu. The employee working the register and taking our order was very helpful and friendly. He provided recommendations and they were fantastic. You really can’t go wrong here. We tried a variety of items on the menu and everything was delicious and it didn’t break the bank. This is a perfect location just across from the Arena. Stop by before a concert and treat yourself to a delicious meal.

The food is amazing! Went to the market originally to go somewhere else but made the last minute decision to try this place. So glad we did. The birria and the corn are my favorite so far. Will be adding this place to my top favorites.
