Ok.. I had eating here before months ago and for a moment I had forgotten why I didn’t want to go back, but the other day I the other day we decided to give it a second chance… bad idea! It had good presentation, good price, nice atmosphere BUT… FOOD IS NOT GOOD!! Husband had tampiqueña and the meat was rubbery with no flavor, I had crunchy flautas they were soggy and super burned and the chicken inside didn’t had flavor, my daughter had steak tacos and they were missing salt and seasoning and again the meat was rubbery. You can tell they don’t cook with love! We were a really disappointed never going back.

Love the decorations. It’s a really nice feel. Sucks it’s cash only. I had the Alamo burger It was good but I wish they would have asked how I liked my bacon. It was undercooked for me. Still good though.

Tacos there are always on point! Burritos and carne a la tampiqueña are also good. Must try! Have never ate there, I always order carry-out. I call ahead and get it on the way – usually ready within 10-15 minutes. Employees are always very polite and friendly.

I was a longtime fan of this place and loved how good the food is, but recently the service here is just TERRIBLE. The food was extremely salty and the waitress REFUSED to exchange it for something different or refund my money and still proceeded to blame ME for “ordering wrong” and told me “to learn for next time.” What kind of service is this?! So disappointed in the way they treat their customers. I will not be going here again.

This place has bad service. They refused to give me a refund for super salty food and even went as far to claim “clients don’t make a difference.” Please spend your money elsewhere!

I asked to get my picaditas remade and they only removed the cheese and called that remaking them. Would not recommend.

Horrible first experience! Never going back again!! I do not recommend eating here at all. Not even if it were the last place on earth. Went yesterday for a quick bite with my bestfriend and my nephew. The service was terrible and the food was tasteless. We didn’t get our chips and salsa till after we finished eating our food. Our waiter was extra slow and there was nobody there. The most disgusting part of this experience was that when we got our basket of chips, the chips had a hair in them. I told the waiter and she did nothing about it. The service was so bad I refused to leave a tip, and I’m not one to not tip.

Bad service. Ordered a tampiqueña, which traditionally is served with a piece of steak and two enchiladas. The process of making enchiladas is an elaborated process. A carne asada dish comes with no enchiladas. So a tampiqueña dish is a bit expensive because of the enchiladas. This place for the Spanish speaking only community is scamming, because you would expect to pay more for your tampiqueña (which includes the steak and two enchiladas). They are not serving enchiladas, they are serving quesadillas. And besides having only one more customer eating at the place, after the waitress delivered the food she never came back to the table. We had to get up to ask for napkins because we were given only one since we arrived to the place. The waitress said “I am just the waitress and not the superviso, is the pandemia, and what do you wanted me to do, give you the whole roll?
