Was looking for authentic street tacos after moving here from Florida, the carnitas hit the spot.

Got three items that were all $8 each and a can of juice, the bill came out to over $35 pre-tip…. Either they charge you for sitting down or they charged me $11 for a can of juice. Feel like I got the “gringo” price hike so won’t be coming back!

I moved to Cincinnati from Colorado, but ive lived in Texas and was raised in Arizona, this place has the most authentic mexican food ive had since being in Texas. It reminded me of home and was worth every penny. I will definitely be coming back over and over! The staff is super kind and helpful, I had carne asada tacos and a carne asada torta. It was AMAZING

The food was decent, and probably great if you want authentic Mexican. I’m used to the more cheesy TexMex type of food. We had an $8 burrito, an $8 torta, and a glass bottle of Coke. Total was $21? Pre-tip. That was an expensive bottle of Coke!

Wonderful food! My husband and I were looking for a place to grab lunch on a Saturday and this place did not disappoint. I had a big craving for some good tacos and stopped in as we were passing by. Got a seat right away, ordered our food with a very friendly and welcoming young lady, and received everything right away. My husband got the pastor quesadillas and i got the pork tacos. I now have one happy husband and one happy belly!! This is a great place to grab some tasty food!!!

I used to go to this place on a regular basis but have not been for a few years. They have new owners and with the new owners have come changes. The place is extremely dirty. The floors and walls are disgusting. Did used to get fresh tortilla chips with delicious salsa. Now they take the chips out of a bag and they are terrible. The only type of salsa that they have is very hot. The food has gone downhill as well. Such a shame as this was a gem of a place!

La Mexicana had been my go to for tacos in northern kentucky, but this place blew me away and now are easily my favorite tacos in the area. The place is unassuming, tucked next to a laundromat and an ameristop and the sign reads “taqueria tapia”.
