Place was decent overall. I prefer the Ventura location on the avenue for the food & salsas. This one is very clean though and the staff is very app to clean tables and trash areas which is nice. Food was pretty good, salsas are basic. They do have a self serve salsa bar which is cool. Prices are decent as well. One thing I did really enjoy and will return exclusively for this. The fresh mango drink they have is amazing. Very refreshing & not too sweet. It’s a bummer they don’t give refills on it, unfortunately they have to charge you for a whole extra drink for more. Great spot to eat and hang out inside and outside.

Delicious tacos. I had 2 Al pastor and 1 carne asada. There was plenty of meat that it fell out while I was eating and was enough to fill up the extra tortilla. The pineapple on the Al pastor reminds of being in mexico. Inside was busy and every table full. Extra seating outside and the food came out within minutes.

Cashier was extremely rude, horrible attitude. I’m never the type to take time to write a negative review (as you can see on my account) but nasty attitudes are never tolerated. Watch out asking for more sauces even if you’re totally okay paying for more, apparently that’s too much to ask for!! Two little sauces is totally enough for 4 burritos The sauce is the only highlight of this place. Maybe we wouldn’t need more sauce if it was seasoned better.

Explorer Overland Adventure
Wowsers, this place is delicious. Sure it’s Mexican food but with a slight twist and that might be a regional thing (Cuernavaca). Wife and I stopped by only because we came to a restaurant across from here except they are closed (memorial day). How could we not come in, it is SUPER PACKED. Tons of people here so you know it’s good. And by full I mean the place in full of people inside, outside with a full line still waiting to order. Yes, you have to order yourself but they do bring it out to you and pick up after you so tip please. We ordered a torta each (menu is sorta limited and that’s not always a bad thing). The tortas are big, full of food (many places skimp on everything except maybe lettuce to make it look like you get a lot) and simply delicious. The place is very nice and clean, it is a little deceiving from the outside. You do need to order chips if you want some. We didn’t know, asked and we were offered chips for free. Salsas are ok, they are different but again it could be regional. We recommend this place and we will be back. It is not often I write a review of a restaurant while I am eating. Almost forgot, the prices are good specially for the amount of food and how good it was.

Torta Cubana is a must have! The Carne Asada Tacos are delicious; meat is juicy and Tender. We usually order a torta Cubana and split it. The restaurant is nice and clean. Staff is nice.
