This is a no frills taqueria. The atmosphere is stripped down and basic. Your not eating at this place for the vibes. However, the place is clean and the food is made fresh. I ordered asada, carnitas, and el pastor tacos. The meat was seasoned well. The salsas were good and they were very generous and provided all the extras (limes, radishes, 3 types of salsa, 2 each, jalapeños, salt and pepper packets, etc). I will say this, they’re pushing it on the prices. $3.50 per taco, tortas are $10. Will I return? Definitely.

Food was ok but mad expensive and not worth the price but I wouldn’t recommend getting horchata as a drink,I got it to go and it smelled like vomit and gross,it gave me the feeling of throwing up and i had stomach pain.I’m pretty sure they don’t throw the drinks out and I’m pretty sure that drink was like days old. Dad thinks he’s saved money going there but it’s really more expensive probably never going here again ♂️

Food is just okay, but wildly expensive when you consider the service. I ordered food from here mainly because I know businesses don’t last very long in this particular spot. First, there’s a teenager who didn’t give me the correct change until I corrected her. Second, they gave me the wrong food and implied that I was lying about what they gave me. Third, what’s in a (chicken) taco salad that cost $11 and some change? I paid for their error because they must really need it. Adding a photo of what they gave me would be too harsh.

My husband and I ordered Burrito and Mega Torta del Barrio. They tasted so good. The salsa is also the best I have had. The owner was very nice and friendly. Highly recommend this one to everyone.

Between our family of 4, we’ve had a variety of items from Taqueria Del Barrio. Everything was delicious! Torta (al pastor), tacos (carnitas, chicken), tostada (steak), and especially the beans and rice. All terrific! Our 3- and 5-year-olds specifically ask to go to “the taco restaurant.”
