I heard this place was good but it was terrible! I’m spanish, I know my Seasonings, the waitress told me that the place is under new management and sadly the owner isn’t spanish. The food tasted like wannabe spanish food. What kind of “Mexican restaurant” doesn’t serve refried beans? I ordered the Carne asada plate the pico de Gallo was tomatoes, onions and lettuce. That’s a salad, it was missing jalapeños and Clinatro, it wasn’t suppose to have lettuce. Also my plate had sour cream, that should be for quesadillas. And finally the “salsa” it tasted like they opened it from a jar not fresh at all and no chunks of tomatoes or vegetables at all. The guacamole was lacking lime, and salt. That was the only thing that was good. The waitress was nice though. Never going back again.

Went to the taqueria del Pueblo on highland Ave for the first time the other night and had an interesting experience. It took about five minutes to get seated on a not so busy night as the hostess wasn’t to be found. Took another five minutes after being sat to be given chips and salsa (tasted like Tostitos salsa out of the jar).

1st, I ate at the bar, so my rating is based on that experience. It was excellent. The young lady at the bar was very kind, and attentive. The tacos were awesome! Beer was cold and atmosphere was inviting. As I left the place was packed! Good on you guys!

From the start the service was terrible. After being seated we waited 15 minutes to order. Her excuse was “the host didn’t inform me that you guys came” we received our flat sodas with our bland guac. The food was unseasoned and lacking flavor. The Birria tacos were decent but the carne asada was horrible. The carne taste like it was marinated in lime juice. The beans tasted like they were dumped straight out of a can.

I go to this place very often! The Birria was the best around until recently. Last few times I have been the birria tacos were not up to par. They weren’t crispy and juicy anymore. The shells were soft and soggy and just didn’t taste right. Is there a new cook or something? Please fix!

I don’t know who’s making these reviews but I feel very bad that they’ve never had good tacos. My carne asada was more like carne secada. My drink tasted like a jolly rancher. The queso was goopy and lacked flavor. The 16 oz margarita is served in a 12oz glass try pouring your 16 water into it and watch I overflow. I won’t say that they have bad food. But I also won’t say that they have good food.

Went here with my girlfriend for dinner. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful bartender. He was extremely attentive and friendly.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered a birria torta, a birria Taco, an Al Pastor Taco, and elote (Mexican Corn). The Torta and the Al Pastor Taco were really good. The birria Taco was excellent. And the elote was by far the best I have ever had. Great flavor in everything I had. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 9.1.

So proud of them opening a new bigger location. There are many places around Worcester that sell birrea tacos but none compare to here. Their consomme is top tier as well. Defiantly a place i want to see succeed. Can’t wait till dine in opens so i can try out the bar
