This place is right in the heart of spring branch and has amazing Mexican food. I totally fell in love with the place after walking in, I was skeptical at first. But once you see your food arrive you just know it’s good. The wait for the food was really quick. I’m definitely coming back here often.

Went to “Taqueria Don Taco” and we had breakfast plates of bacon & eggs and nopalitos & eggs. We truly enjoyed the authentic Mexican flavor of our breakfast. They even have quesadillas de flor de calabazas and huitlacoche. I tried the flor de calabaza quesadilla and it reminded of my mom’s cooking. Loved it.

Where do I start. This restaurant doesn’t look appealing at all, and this is solely based on the outside looks. The inside looks okay, it’s bright, and very welcoming by the ladies at the front. They have a variety of different food options, but don’t expect tongue (lengua) as a meat choice. They have a lot of items/prices scratched off from their menu. I ordered a small burrito and my partner got the nachos. The fajita meat is seasoned perfectly and it was nicely tender. The nachos were crispy and full of flavor. The burrito was good, my only complain is that they don’t put enough meat in the burrito. The green and habanero salsas (they are refrigerated) are spicy! In my opinion, if the salsa is good, then the food is good too! The alcohol beverages are a bit over priced, $12 margaritas. Also, it’s very warm inside, I don’t think they have AC. Waitresses have great customer service, they check up on you quite often.

Very friendly staff, beef plate (togo) beans and rice shifted while driving. Foods good, corn tortillas soft. Asked for peppers (jalapeno) has some kick great if you like spicy foods!
