Me encanta Taqueria el amigo. The first thing that really impressed me was their professional menu. The menu was clear and simple which made it easy to order. They have 2 large televisions. It is a very clean restaurant with an organized and neat salsa bar. We ordered four tortas and they labeled mine so it was easy to figure out which torta was which . I like how they wrapped each half of the torta then wrapped it as a whole. I am very impressed with this restaurant.

I like this spot it’s a hidden gem. I like the al pastor tacos. They hit the spot when you want real Mexican food. I would give it 5 stars but they have two cooks that rotate one makes the tacos from the soul and the other that seems to follow a generic recipe. You will be extra lucky to get the good one.

Seriously the best Mexican food in Gainesville. Everything I’ve ever tried is amazing. My favorites are the torta de asada and the quesadilla con pollo y queso. All the salsas are so fresh and delicious and the service is great. I could eat here every day!

I been here a couple times now the taste is consistent. I love the tacos and the tortas! If you’re looking to try some authentic tacos, and you’re tired of Antojito- I’d give this place a try. I prefer how this taqueria seasons the tacos.The staff is really friendly and the place isn’t noisy.

Taqueria el Amigo has awesome food. I like the Tortas (a Mexican sandwich). My favorite Torta is the Cuban that has steak, ham, sausage, and even a fried egg. The prices are very good and the resturant is very clean. Taqueria el Amigo is a little hidden off Atlanta Hwy but well worth a visit.
