It is what it is. Nice authentic recipes and a good Modelo Negra. The language barrier was my biggest issue. Steak Huarche is one of my faves. Just be warned that the soft bread of the normal recipe will be substituted with a prickly pear cactus palm. It was delicious but since I don’t speak Spanish very well, I didn’t understand that the bread was to be replaced with the aloe like succulent. Once again, my fault for not understanding spoken Spanish and not realizing that the photo was there to show what the bread was to be replaced with. But then again maybe they had bread but since I mentioned the cacti, then she assumed I wanted it. Would go back again as it was better than the first time but the location just seems strange. Part of the property is a convenience store/sandwich shop, the parking lot has a coffee cart. It’s right next to a feed and seed store and a strip club. Very Portland scene but I enjoy being an atypical customer at joints like this. Thanks friends.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. The staff is friendly and the food is awesome. Theres a decent sized eating area inside, they also do to-go. Theres a small condiment bar in the eating area filled with spicy pickled vegetables, salsas, etc. We’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed. Awesome prices also!

Food was hot and good. Restaurant and restroom are clean. But salad was withered and should not be served to customer.

The food is outstanding! The al pastor tacos were tender and full of flavor with a touch of heat! There are three types of burritos so every burrito lover is happy (the main differences that I noticed were 1. meat choice with beans and rice, 2. meat choice with sour cream, lettuce, and tomatoes, 3. meat choice with cilantro and onions). They were quick with service! The dining room was relaxing and beautiful. We will be back!!

Smelled absolutely amazing when I walked in. Super friendly quiet atmosphere and an amazing menu. I chose the steak rancheros (#35) and the taco plate with carne asada tacos on corn tortillas (24). The rancheros were a bit pricey but the portions are worth it. It’s a small spot but definitely worth an out of the way visit.
