We were visiting SLC from Texas for a rugby tournament and staying in Sandy. Stumbled upon the small unassuming Mexican restaurant and thought we would give it a try. So glad we did! From the fresh chips and salsas (4 to choose from) to the amazing margaritas and to die for birria tacos, we loved everything! Not very crowded, server was nice and friendly. The interior of the place is a bit small and nothing special, but the food sure is! Thanks for a wonderful Mexican meal outside of Texas!

Exceptionally good authentic Mexican food. Everything here has such a unique flavor, the salsas are all made in house and you can really tell that the owner takes pride in their shop. We ordered tacos, taconazo, guacamole rolls, and California burrito. Everything was amazing. Highly recommend the guac rolls and anything with the pibil pork! Will definitely be back for more 🙂

Very tasty food. I love how many veggies options they have. I ordered the veggie burrito with salad, rice and beans on the side. The salsa they give you when you first sit down is unlike anything I’ve ever eaten. So tasty!

I read a few of the reviews before I posted mine. Seems weird to give somebody a one-star review when you don’t read the menu and you’re surprised by the prices. I’ve been here many times including last night. My wife and I had two awesome meals with a couple appetizers and we were out the door for $42. I felt like we got a lot of food for what we paid. Every time we come here we feel like we are actually in Mexico. The food is very good and feels a lot like restaurant we have visited in Mexico. They always do a very good job with the presentation of the food. My wife commented that if they had a nicer location they could easily charge twice as much for their food. The quality of the food, the presentation, the flavor, the quantity, all of it is very very good.

I ordered the nachos supreme with no meat and it was embarrassing to look at. I can’t believe anyone would serve this, especially for $13! I got like 10 chips and half of the plate was lettuce. In reality it’s a third the size of a nacho plate at best. I hope nobody else gets ripped off by this place.
