All I have to say is that this place is amazing!! I ordered a wet burrito with carne asada. It had melted cheese over the red sauce as well as inside the burrito. The burrito is delicious and huge. The burrito is so big I had to pace myself so I could finish it. I ordered a grapefruit Jarritos which added a citrus hint to each bite I took. The chips and salsa were good. The service is very friendly and I recommend coming here.

The food has change in flavor for sure. I’m not sure if it has change owners since they open. I order the Huarache was decent tasting. I order with half Carnitas and Asada. The carnitas had season but not the Asada. My wife order the the Torta and it was decent size but the Milanesa was plain. The meat lack seasoning and it was tuff. The Torta was a real big turn off. I think that i won’t be stopping by another time there. Sorry!

Ordered tacos and they were okay. The meat had no flavor and was dry and the salsa wasn’t hot and was plain as well but made the tacos taste better . The chips weren’t good, also got Asada fries and it was cool they gave the option for waffle fries but sadly only the picked the fries.

The food wasn’t too bad. The horchata is cheaper and had more flavor than other restaurants I have visited. I did like the rice and beans- actually had flavor. I wish the Chile Verde sauce was thicker and the doors were a little less soggy, and I could have them without the cheese. The service times weren’t too long and the customer service wasn’t bad either. Overall, I would return again.

I will hardly go out of my way to write a bad review on a business as I try to be fair and understand things happen and nothing is perfect. But this place deserves it. I have placed orders three separate occasions from this establishment with the same lady with attitude taking my order and not getting it right 3x and still leaving a “propina” Today is February 3 2022 three strikes your out and I won’t elaborate on past orders just today (but they didn’t get it right then either), it isn’t my fault for not checking the order it’s the establishments fault for not making an order correct 3x in a row that now I’m writing this review, I ordered a carne asada quesadilla. As you can see in the picture I got a carne asada tortilla. I said I will pay for extra chips and salsa which most places will give for free , I got 0 salsa and one small bag of chips. I specifically Ordered a chimichanga with green sauce on the side in Spanish, since they wouldn’t do a “wet” chimichanga I said I’ll pay extra to put sauce on the side, no sauce, my wife’s regular burrito is horrible. The pico seems as it has been sitting since 11am it’s 10pm now. I’m not looking for any refund or free food but the management at this place needs to fire the lady at the phone or register who can’t do the simplest of jobs or be there in the future to guarantee their success of their business because as for me I’ll go to a taco truck rather than this joint. This is a joke. And I don’t want an apology over failed management. Don’t order from this place.

Excellent carnitas. They offer whole beans, which for some reason is unusual in the Merced area (most places only have refried, which is fine but I prefer whole). Prices are fine. Good variety of salsas in their salsa bar. The service for takeout is pretty quick (I call ahead and it’s ready in 10 minutes).

Tried Taqueria El Hurache today, I will definitely be going back! The prices were cheap so we expected small plates, WRONG, huge servings! Biggest wet burrito I’ve ever seen. The food all tasted great and the salsa was fresh. Everything was clean, the employees were nice and food came out quickly.
