The main courses we ordered were amazingly good. The meat and the garbanzo beans on the Pozole were super tender. The wet burrito grande was delicious. The Tamales and the grilled fish & shrimp was excellent. The only subpar item was the tortilla chips and the dip. I prefer the traditional salsa over the sauce that they served. The strawberry fresca was really good and not too sweet. I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a really hood mexican food.

So here’s the thing, if I would have done this review a month ago it would have been a great review but last month I went to there foreplay Friday event and it was amazing. There were two rooms and if you didn’t like music one room you could float to the other room. They had $3 shot specials And me and my friend were both able to get two and be set. There was a bar outside and there was a bar inside so it wasn’t overly crowded around the bar. It was an amazing time. So we invited our friends out this month for the event and it was an utter disappointment. We asked the bartender for shots and they told us that we couldn’t get them. They still had people eating out the restaurant because they wanted to prioritize customers which I think is insane because you advertise an event that literally says two rooms on it yet you only have one set up. I had friends that drove from the opposite side of the island because of how we said it was so amazing last time and honestly I was embarrassed. Not to mention they charge you a $20 cover and there were no drink specials. We had a group of eight in every single person asked at the bar. I will not probably be going back because the contradiction of having the best night ever with the worst night in a while out was enough for me to not want to come back

MY honey wanted Mexican food this was better than other places. I think, is the closest to Mexican food around here. Overall okay Just don’t go dancing here. We paid for tickets for Cinco de Mayo. Its soooo disorganized.!!You ask try to get an answer and everyone tell you a different answer !! ! So crouded in the dancing area. I’m surprised they SELL than many tickets for such a small dancing place. If you like a crowded, disorganized place this you might like. Not for me. Thats all

The food was decent, but the service was the worst. After waiting almost 10 minutes for the waitress to show up, we ordered 2 beers, and it took them half an hour to bring them, when we were about to finish eating. To eat we ordered fajitas, honestly they were tasty, the sauces were spicy, but I insist, the service was the worst, I will never return to that restaurant.
