One of the best places to get food in port orchard. Exceptional pricing and flavor. Service used to be the absolute best in port orchard, while it’s not bad by any means it is a little disappointing because the atmosphere has changed because of it. Regardless one of my favorite places to eat in town.

It’s hard to find a place like Taqueria El Rey in the PNW let alone Kitsap county. I’m a Mexican-born that moved from the Mountain West and this place gives me a nostalgic feeling. Also the drinks are a must, cucumber tajin margarita and Mexican mule were my favorite

Food was great, girls working the bar made me feel unwelcome. Half cracked smiles and 0 effort in conversation, never even asked if it was good or if I liked it. Building was incredibly smoky and needed a fan. Watched some 10-12 year old boy hang out behind bar too which is weird. Don’t think I’ll come back here, I enjoy a place where the staff smile and communicate and make me feel like they want me in their establishment

Food came quickly, happy hour drinks were generously ramped up and well worth the price. Carne asada was primo! Waitresses were very nice. Happy to come back here again for delicious Mexican food!

This business is over priced and bad service. They also have the food truck on Sedgwick. Best tacos is multiple other places in close proximity. You can get food way cheaper, faster and better tasting. Hope they start to appreciate port orchard locals…

Updated review, removed original comment since it was an Uber Eats driver gaming the system. Thanks to Leticia for taking the time to talk with me, sort everything out.

Ordered from GrubHub, the descriptions were very minimal. I ordered a “burrito plate” which I thought would be a typical burrito (meat, cheese, beans, rice, onion, pico) with a side of rice and beans.. I was surprised when the only thing inside the burrito was meat. It came with beans and rice on the side and a small container of sour cream/guac/lettuce. The food wasn’t bad or amazing. Will be trying other Mexican food options in the area next time. I suggest adding better descriptions for mobile ordering.

We visited for my husbands birthday. No vegetarian options. When asked if any of the food can be made vegetarian I was told the menu is the menu. The servers then talked trash about me in Spanish and ignored our table until we started that we were ready to order. Leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t recommend this place or eat here again.

You order and pay before you are seated – love that! Also, the hot sauces were SOOO GOOD. I was impressed. Here is my empty cilantro jalapeño margarita glass, which was delicious. If it was safe I would have had a pitcher!
