Taqueria El Taco Loco Menu – Wilmington, CA

Type : Mexican restaurant

Location : Wilmington, CA

We serve traditional Mexican food. Tacos, tortas, burros, seafood, natural juices and much more.

Taqueria El Taco Loco 4 was founded at the beginning of the ’90s
I Jorge Magdaleno started working with my brother Guillermo Magdaleno at the end of the 80’s in the Food Truck that was parked in the Magnolia Ave in the city of Long Beach. I worked with my brother around 5 years, soon after the opportunity was given to open a second location of El Taco Loco in the city of Wilmington. We started in a small place at 128 E. Pacific Coast Hwy literally selling tacos in the parking lot of that establishment. Our business started to grow until we achieved one of the most successful taquerias in the city of Wilmington.

Based on 773 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.1 stars. Price $

Food is super good, the tortillas are freshly made. The service is welcoming, and the staff are friendly and fast. I recommend the wet burrito! It’s delicious. Don’t forget to try the flan, they have a few different flavors and so good! Highly recommend this place!

Here’s something you haven’t seen today: a review of a Mexican restaurant that serves beef birria.

Came to this place to check it and never again will i return. The only good thing about this experience was the melon water/ agua de melon that was really good and homemade. Other than that the burrito and tacos were over priced and you dont get your moneys worth for something thats not authentic. The burrito i got was supposed to be asada/ranchera/flap meat but turned out to be chopped and boiled down new york steak. The rice was reheated and not fresh. They put lettuce in the burrito which is a no no unless you are going to Del Taco. The tacos did not have much meat. Was boiled down pork. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

What I do like to eat here are there caldos/stews.athentic flavors well portioned with all the condiments need for a hooked up Mexican caldo. Also they let me charge my phone for a while wich I thought made up for all the long faces and they have a public restroom.

Ordered a large Agua Fresca which went for 7 dollars just for them to fill it up with nothing but ice . 2 sips and it was done! I went to tell the employees and they didn’t seem to care and went on to charge me $5 for a refill and instead… when they refilled it they stacked more ice on top of what was already there..

Need to clean up the place. Food was decent but the dining area was dirty and it has flies roaming the area. Not sure if I’ll go back. Btw it has a B rating as of today 5-24-17

Service was great, atmosphere was great, but the food wasn’t all that great. I ordered the carna asada burrito. It had no flavor and it was too spicy. The horchota I ordered was way watered down. I love these small mom and pop mexican restaurants but sadly I was disappointed with this one.
