Overall, I would say i had a good experience. The restaurant was not busy when i got here at 11:30 and was able to order quickly. Their 4 tacos for $7.99 is a solid deal nowadays, so that’s what I ordered and my daughter ordered a breakfast burrito.

First time here, I was actually referred to this place. I walked in never greeted and it was not busy at all, walked up to the counter to place my order the young lady was not nice nor pleasant, not one smile came out of her. No smiley welcoming faces here, “it’s like really” if you have no customer hospitality and are not a people person don’t be in the restaurant business, even if your food is good, bad service with a unwelcoming attitude will stink up the room very quickly. So being the nice person I am I just kept a pleasant attitude, I placed my order for some tacos and asked if they have tamales, she said they don’t have tamales, so I walked on over to Doris Bakery Panaderia, and right when I walked in the guy immediately greeted me with a smile and took my order, now that’s what it’s about welcoming friendly service, that is what makes a customer continue to come back. Doris Baker Panaderia’s tamales are also very good too . Taqueria you should take some pointers on customer friendly service from your neighbors.

The place wasn’t busy when I went in. The guy that took my order was really nice and he even suggested if I needed water since I didn’t order any drinks. The place looks really nice and clean. I really like the the menu actually has pictures as that’s usually what I like when I’m trying to figure out what to order. The food came out quick and it was good. I think I found a good spot that I will be going back often. This place is a little bit hidden in the shopping center.

I walked to the loud sound of 2 echoing TVs that had thie audio off sync. It wasn’t a good first impression. The lighting is very dark, the menu difficult to read behind the counter. The tables are dirty inside, the ones outside should have been replaced years ago. The food might be good and this was my second attempt at being a customer. Last time the food quality was poor. This time after seeing the salsa bar and worried about sanitation and food being kept at safe temps, I just walked out and gave up. El encanto in nearby Mobile was clean, cheaper, and their food was surprisingly excellent. 2 of us ate there for just 24 dollars including two entrees, chips, salsa and 3 drinks. I can’t understand why the owners of Taqueria dont improve thier lighting, clean up the while place and throw out the badly aged and unsightly furniture outside and probably inside too. You are not cheap Tapitio. Cant you look.better? Please?

The worst place I’ve ever ate, the chicken smelled like dog! 12oz soda can $2.00 each rip off. I don’t recommend this place, dining area is disgusting filthy! Chicken is cheaper than steak and you’ll still pay the steak price for dog smelling chicken. they also charge a fee for using your debit card. Before I forget the girl that took my order wasn’t too nice. Doris bakery has better food just a few feet away.

This is my favorite place to eat. Favorite is the Shrimp coctail. Price went up on it a bit but well worth the price. Tacos are also bomb here. The other Tapatio shops are ok but this one Is the best. The staff are always nice and they have quick service. A must try authentic Mexican food place.

Service was bad, but I figured if the food was good then it didn’t matter. Unfortunately, I didn’t know til I got home but my food order was wrong by two items (I asked for no onions, I got onions. And I asked for chicken enchiladas but got pork); the food had A LOT of salt in it & I mean it was SUPER salty to the point I threw away my enchiladas; and the beans were liquidy. Not like the normal mushy texture, but watery liquid that tipped out of the container liquidy texture).

If I could put 0 stars I would, but I can’t. Im never eating here again, the rice and bean and fiah have no flavor. My husband order plato de pescado and he found a hair in his plate, and I ordered enchiladas de pollo and also found a hair. I ate here 02/23/2019 saturday afternoon at 5pm. They should really use hair nets especially the cashier female since she is the one handing out the food to the tables. I did not pay $32 dollars to find hair in my food.
