All around disappointing. The place is a bit run down and was dirty. It is kind of hard to find. I took a photo showing where it is. You have to bus yourself. Also, there is no free salsa or chips. The food was not so great. I read great things about the restaurant in Santa Ana and this seems to be the second location. I’m not sure if the original place is amy better, but we will likely not be trying the original place. There are many Mexican restaurants around. I hope the owners can step up their game as there are plenty of other superior options.

Amazing. The tacos were so soft and full of flavor. The horchata was authentic, not overly sweet. My husband had the scopes, enchilada and taco combination. I regret not buying more food! There’s always tomorrow I guess haha

Best Al Pastor in Orange County! Excellent Mexican restaurant. They also serve breakfast at 7am everyday, except Sunday. The Chilaquiles are excellent, nice and wet. I recommend the Al Pastor burrito Mojado.

I’ve been a regular at their other location, and have been looking forward to this second spot! The food is just as delicious and the staff are friendly (if you frequent the other shop you’ll see some familiar faces). I always get the 2 taco combo with carnitas (no onion or cilantro for me) and a horchata. I also like their huevos rancheros, and my boyfriend swears by their chile relleno.

Great spot for vegan food! They have a lot of options, and just everything tastes great. People who work there are nice and the horchata is fantastic! The draw back is that the prices are very high, and they charge you extra for a lot of things.

Our friend recommended this place so we checked it out. Being on this side of Costa Mesa we don’t have a ton of authentic Mexican food. I’m SO glad that this place opened up! The chilaquiles were amazing! Right amount of crunch and sauce! The spinach-pinapple drink was great too, better than it sounds! I will definitely be coming back to this place!

Great homestyle taqueria. Tortillas are house made, super fresh. Beans are not over salted for once. Get the shrimp tacos. Al pastor is good. Really like their salsa. The white hot sauce is amazing and HOT! I will be going back, this place is fresh and great!

I was really excited to try this place. The only good thing was the tortillas. Everything else tasted awful and the meats were all hard and old. The horchata tasted like sand. Dishes that should have been very tasty lacked flavor. Disappointments and regret were all that hit my taste buds. Never going back again.

Too expensive fornwhat it really is, I mean, $11 for a tortas, asada or chicken, it’s the first place I see this high price, the worse part is that the meet is old! And overcooked. Very good service but too much money for what you get. Cancun juice is like 3 blocks away from this location and is wayy better food and lower prices.

Had a couple tacos tonight, very good. Just came back from Cabo and I’d say comparable… Horchata is good too. Asked about a to go menu and the man point up to the big board and completely ignored the to go part twice… Good food though.
