Hot outside and hot inside the restaurant. Talked with team lead Joe and told him if he could cool things down. He stated that he couldn’t. Dirty windows and chairs are also dirty. Dirty walls.holes on walls. Outside sign has a hole as well. Attendant did not know about specials. Menus look old and the service was unprofessional. Ordered potatoes and they were incorrect. Served without meat. Wife told me to not say nothing. Will not return to this dump place.

My first time ordering in years, I always order from there but stopped because food wasn’t as great. Well I decided to give it another try and it was probably worse than before. They forgot to give me two sides. I called and was put on hold and never got back to. I also ordered a fajita plate and literally it was more grilled onions than anything. About 5 pieces of fajita. Waste of money, should have just asked for grilled onions.

I have 11 years living in Arbor Cove and I never have any problem other than flooding when it rains a lot but that is not an inside problem, that happens every were in Donna. The place is clean, we have a low rent other places with 2 Bedrooms and 1.5 bathroom are more expensive than this one and is very spacious with garage. This review is for the newer taqueria called Taqueria del Primo. This used to be a Taqueria Zarape that closed down. They opened about 2 weeks ago and I decided to give it a try. The portions are descent however I did not like the taste of the meat in the tacos. You can really taste the fat in the charro beans. I ordered bistec tacos. First bite I took I noticed the meat had a weird taste. Drinks are either can or Mexican bottled, no fountain drinks and they don’t have free water. But they do have bottled water. Im not sure if it’s the seasoning on the meat or quality of meat but I don’t think I will be returning.

Came here once about 4 years ago and the food was good. Nothing to freak out over but a solid taqueria. Went today and was severely disappointed. Ordered a taco pirata with carne de bistec and guacamole. There was little to no cheese in the taco, the meat was dry and way too finely chopped, looked like ground beef from taco bell, not busted, and the guacamole was laughable. It looked like it was painted on the tortilla. Hardly enough for a bite. Save yourself the trouble and go to literally any other taqueria in weslaco. El compadre on pike is solid. Jalisco is too.
