Located in a gas station strip center, this place had all the authentic trappings of a taco stand with the comfort, bigger menu, and hospitality of a sit down restaurant.

The street taco plate at Taqueria Fiesta Jaliciense in Katy is an absolute delight for the taste buds. With each bite, you’re transported to the vibrant streets of Mexico. The soft corn tortillas are filled with perfectly seasoned meats, such as tender marinated carne asada or succulent grilled chicken. The toppings of fresh cilantro, diced onions, and a squeeze of lime add a burst of freshness and acidity. The flavors meld together harmoniously, creating a symphony of taste. Served with a side of tangy salsa and creamy guacamole, this street taco plate is a true culinary gem that will leave you craving for more.

We searched for years in Katy for awesome breakfast tacos, and then finally found this place. No frills location, but my fam and my office no order from them weekly and can’t recommend enough. try the bacon, egg, cheese, and beans on flower. It’s a top two all time breakfast taco, you’re welcome.

Nice real Mexican restaurant in old Katy, ordered the menu. They do a different take by using lemon instead of lime and they give you dry red peppers instead of jalapenos. Word to the wise if you crush the peppers up into menudo by the end of your bowl you will be sweaty. They also ask you if you want hominy and pigs feet in it. I highly recommend going that route.

I’d been looking for a restaurant that served menudo. This was the only one I found, after looking through dozens of online menus. The girls at the counter were so polite and helpful. On previous review of their menudo, they must’ve been out of limes, because mine came with limes, dried peppers, and corn (or flour) tortillas. It was a very generous serving (I ordered Togo), fed me for two days. The flavor was amazing. The portion of protein to hominy was perfect. Tons of protein. I’m definitely coming back to try more off the menu. If you’re thinking about checking this place out, just do it. You won’t regret it

Placed an order from here via Uber Eats and was so incredibly happy with the quality of food delivered! Huge portions and the Migas were some of the best I’ve had in the area! So glad I discovered this gem in Old Katy, we’ll definitely be visiting soon in person!

I stumbled upon this place on google on Father’s Day because my husband loves Barbacoa but it’s hard to find and even harder to find it good and not dry! I took a chance based off reviews and picked them up for breakfast for my hubby to surprise him early. He LOVED them and I had one too. So good! Perfectly seasoned and a bit of soft and crispy meat with the right amount of fat! Mmm! I also love the bistec tacos. It’s our new go to places and you can’t beat the pricing. The only down side is we can’t have a margarita or cocktails because they don’t serve alcohol but for lunch or a diner without drinks it’s a great spot. The wait staff is really nice as well. We will always come back!

One of the best things about coming back to TX is the Mexican food. This little gem in a small corner shopping mall was quite the treat. Food is delicious and surprisingly inexpensive. Staff were super friendly and helpful, even with my confusing request to sample various types of tacos and enchiladas in the platters.

Im gonna start off by saying, that I expected way more of this place and i was highly disappointed. Don’t come here if you want a poor service experience. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came in with a water bottle to take my medication with and had set my water down on the table, an employee rudely says that I can’t have a water bottle with me for some reason, and denied me service because of it. This place already doesn’t have many clients, and I was going to pay for a meal. They should’ve had no problem serving me and I leave great tips!! As a fellow Mexican I was sad that they would treat their clients in such a poor manner and going as far as kicking me out for a water bottle even though I was remaining calm and collected. I know for a fact I am not mixing up locations because I have been coming here since this place was owned by much nicer Mexicans and the place was called “Taqueria Jamay” hasta la comida tenía más sabor y no estaba amarga como las mujeres que trabajan ahí. You guys can do better!!! I recommend Tacos La Bala or Taqueria el Toluca!
