Since she did not give us the opportunity to prove anything or defend ourselves, Mrs. Norma Yebra, put her review in private so that we as a Guadalajara taqueria could respond. We apologize for what happened, they were not cockroaches but just one, the Sunday August 27 they did pest control and every time we do that it is normal for one or 2 to appear but not hundreds, do not be exaggerated. We receive deliveries from our suppliers 4 times a week, and even if we are very careful, the bugs come in the boxes of the deliveries they make to us. Once again I apologize for the incident. Also keep in mind that a storm just passed and the bugs come out after that. We also had no intention of charging you for the food you did not consume. thank you

Don’t eat in this restaurant in Portland Texas . As soon as we got our food all the roaches came out. We had roaches crawling all over the walls and tables my husband walked out . And I went straight to the cashier and told her about the roaches and her answer was I told the waitress not to put the table against the wall. I told her we are not paying and I am reporting this to the health department. 8/28/2023

Taqueria Guadalajara in Portland,Tx has a very clean restaurant. My family and I were seated quickly. The food was excellent and the service was great. Heriberto was very helpful and checked on my family and me. I was celebrating my mother’s birthday. They sang and it made it more special. We travelled from Corpus Christi and will definitely go back. I recommend this restaurant highly.

My husband was excited for the Carnitas special, when we ordered they said they had just run out. He ordered something else, the wait staff returned with a boxed up Carnitas plate on the house, they had one left over. Was very kind of them!

One of the best Mexican Cuisine ever been to, we ordered chicken fajita, chicken enchiladas and California burrito, it was very delicious , they always serve freshly cooked food, very clean, hygiene and family oriented restaurant with friendly staff and very reasonable food rates.
