After the 4th visit, they fall pretty hard. Sorry. Service is fine as is the environment. But this time the fajitas were oily as was my combo plate. And it was wrong. The chips were odd this time too, like they were fried 2 times. And the beans were similar, yesterday’s maybe? Not fresh. Margarita was watered down. 58 bucks. So, sad to say, but after 4 5-star reviews in a row, 3 is it and that’s generous since I am weighting it on previous meals. Otherwise it’s a 2.

It’s difficult to speak too well of this restaurant. While it looks like any of thousands of Mexican restaurants in the United States, the food was superb and the service was excellent. The combination platters on the bottom left of the first page of the menu are great values. We each got the third one, which was selecting three items for $15.99 and getting Soup or salad and rice and beans with that. My hard shell shredded beef tacos were incredibly delicious as well as my chicken enchilada. The beans were above average and the meatball soup was good. My wife’s dinner was equally well above average. We saw that there are a large number of Mexican restaurants here in Prescott Valley. This was the only one we ate at. I can only say that, in my opinion, it would be difficult if not impossible for one of the others to be better.

Chips and salsa are good, service was great, very friendly. Shrimp tacos were on double tortilla, very doughy, and overstuffed with vegetables that you could not pick it up, all over your hand and the plate. Focus on the shrimp flavour. Beans and rice really good

This is my second time trying this restaurant. The service is great, the salsa and chips are delicious, but the main entrees left alot to be desired. My food was tasteless. The Carne asada meat in my burrito was old looking and tasted sour. It was the second and last time I will try this restaurant. On a better note, their peach margarita was delicious.

Always feel bad to just post an ok review but it’s just my opinion and others may love it. Staff was pleasant and there was a nice setting inside but for me the food was just ok. I got two beef tacos and these were fine, not much flavor in anything. The other side I got was the beans and cheese nachos. Not good, plain everything. The nachos, beans, cheese, all plain and no taste. The whole plate was mush and the cheese burnt on top. I almost threw it out but I am not one to waste food at any cost. Just didn’t work for me..I usually eat at a different restaurant when in town that was closed that day so I decided to try this instead

Enjoyed it. Very good food and service. Enchiladas and Relleno. Chicken fajitas. Both good. More than you can eat! The green salsa is really good! Would return.

We arrived just as they opened at 11am. We ordered the daily special which was Burrito Loco for $8.99. I chose beef which was delicious. Michael got pork and beef combo. He told our waiter the refried beans were the best he had ever had. Definitely not from a can. I ate until I was stuffed and we both took home half of our food. Really enjoyed the ambience. Beautiful paintings and decor.

Great Mexican. Tucked away and worth GPSing to get there. Love the salsa bar. Chips were fresh. The chili relleno which was light and fluffy

Had not eaten here before. Very small but quaint Mexican restaurant. Waitress was very sweet and attentive. They had a special of fish tacos with rice and beans. They offer an option of salad in place of the rice and beans so I ordered that. My husband ordered a shrimp enchilada and a chile relleno, ala carte. When the food came I was so impressed. Everything was fresh and the fish was grilled not fried and seasoned just right. I was so happy to find a Mexican restaurant where the food is healthy and I don’t leave with a heavy pain in my stomach.
