Went Taqueria Hecho En Mexico for the first time tonight for a City of Vacaville District 3 listening session. The food and service were great! I am happy councilmen Silva hosted the event tonight so I got to experience something new! The constituents from the area who attended spoke up about pressing areas in their neighborhood. It was great to hear from them and their concerns.

This is my favorite place to get street tacos. In-house made corn or flour tortillas on weekends on the grill outside is a huge boon to any basic, street taco. White onion, cilantro, choice of meat, in-house salsa (4 choices), cuts of lime.

2 stars because the first few bites of the burrito was pretty good but then an unholy amount of unmelted cheese and sour crème overtook the burrito…. Like so much it seemed like a cottage cheese mixture….and then the horchata was grainy and thick all at the bottom only a little bit of the top layer was drinkable… ngl I tried to drink it a few more times hoping that maybe the cinnamon and other spices just needed to settle but no that was in fact not true. 2/10 would not recommend.

Not an authentic Mexican food spot, they serve a more white washed style of Mexican food. There was white globs of unmelted cheese that looked like white rice. The beans, rice and steak had little to no taste. The chips and salsa were the best part of my order and even they weren’t that great. Don’t get me wrong the people that work there are friendly but the food is not it. Save your money.

Really good little joint for some quick Mexican food. Food is up to par and the atmosphere is really welcoming/homey. They’ve got everything you could want from a Mexican spot. From your enchiladas to tortas and everything else in between. Definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for some Mexican food!

I asked for a burrito with steak rice and beans with lettuce and avocado …the cook thinks uts a good idea to put clumps of avocado instead of spread it evenly… your cooking is a joke and very dry with no flavor… I don’t recommend this place not even for my dog!!!!!

This place is nasty! Torta was gross slopped on cheese and beans hardly any meat on it and the meat that was in it was cold fatty grissely and salty. The rice was had been over cooked and stuck to the pan they served the burnt pieces and was way too salty. This place proved to be gross.
