Craving a Torta and chips & salsa while passing through Chattanooga. This place was great, quick service, minimal seating inside but next to a nice outdoor lunch/seating area (Miller Park). Street tacos and Torta were delicious! Will probably stop next time we pass through!

I work in the same building one day a week and asked a coworker where a good place would be for lunch. He suggested Taqueria Jalisco 2, so we walked down around 1230 and both got the Carnitas Plate social for ten dollars. The amount of good, quality food for the money was exceptional. It was served with refried beans and rice and some Pico and three wraps, I asked for the hot sauce and while the flavor of the sauce was amazing it did leave a little to be desired for the “hot” aspect. We did decide to eat outside in the pavilion and enjoy the beautiful weather. I will have no issue recommending our going back to Taqueria Jalisco 2 and I will be sure to get pictures next time.

Would not recommend. They close at random times (recently & in the past), around 2p.m. and their food isn’t worth the price. Go to any other spot and avoid this place to save your time and headache

They’re racist! And it’s funny because they’re not even a White Owned Restaurant. I’m a half Black half Mexican woman from Athens, GA. They poorly prepared the food for me the second time I ordered. But when I ordered the first time with another White man in a business suit (the same exact thing), they put the food together nicely. The second time I ordered within the same hour, the meat was burnt and they used less of it, and the tortilla wasn’t even fried like the first time – they burnt that too!
