Went for lunch, this is one of our regular Tex Mex places. Today I ordered one of their specials the “Birria Plate”. I had asked the server what it was, she tried to explain it to me, but I didn’t really understand, I was about to order something else when she brought me a small sample of it, I immediately changed my mind and ordered it. It was similar to Carne Guisada but instead of the gravy the guisada comes with this was cooked in a very flavorful slightly spicy sauce / pan juice. The meat was super tender and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m going to have to check the regular menu to see if it’s on there. I will definitely order it again if its available. This was a wonderful new taste treat for me. As always the chips and salsa were plentiful, the tortillas were warm and fresh, the place was clean and the servers were attentive.

Menudo small cut meat, good flavor. The French toast plate was delicious. Unsweet tea and a coffee with side ice water went well. Friendly service. This first time visit was great.

Me and the wife always get drive-thru breakfast here. The tacos are great! I love me a potato and egg taco here! The wife gets a bean and cheese taco and they’re always perfect! The bean is never runny and their tacos stay together. They never make a mess! Me and the wife only normally spend $7 here for the both of us to have four tacos. Cheap and affordable! Would highly recommend this Jalisco in the Corpus Christi Southside area!

Jalisco number four has probably the best table service in Corpus Christi. That being said the food follows the service. Everything I have ordered has been very good. Monday through Friday has a taco special for a dollar and forty-nine cents. Coffee cup will never run out of coffee they watch the tables closely.
