We were visiting family in Shafter Ca and being from South Texas (30 minutes from Matamoros Mexico) we look for homemade and authentic tastes. Our first visit here was above grade in flavor. We enjoyed the tacos de asada and tacos de carne adobada ( basically Al pastor) with their salsa roja and delicious from beginning to end.

Ordered food with 2 coworkers while on lunch, got a total of 11 tacos on roder, and we left before the tacos were made. Took them over 35 minutes to try and make 11 tacos, but I guess it’s really hard to put meat on a tortilla. Plus other people that ordered after us got their food before us. Won’t come here again.

It was good service, the man cleaning the tables was so nice. But the cashier looked so serious. The cooks were pretty nice too. Overall it was clean and the food was an eight out of ten. maybe visit them once in awhile

Very delicious food and at a good price. First time here so I ordered three tacos each with different meats so I could taste the different meats. Left to right, tripas, buche and carnitas. My boy ordered the torta de lengua. He thought it was very delicious. The best thing is that you can see them chopping the meat for your tacos.

Service was kind of bad. Stood at counter ignored for a bit. Finally told to ORDER ar the PICK UP WINDOW. Carne asada was dry and had an odd flavor. Cabeza tacos we just ok. No salsa and dry Lemons. Plenty of places to buy tacos in Shafter so don’t have to return.
