Was supposed to have a nice breakfast with my mother,she enjoys/ enjoyed going there. Today was not an exception to say the least. For a Sunday it was busy. For me it was as this was the first time and last time for me. Wait staff is very familiar with who she is,as I mentioned she’s a regular there with her family members. Mother and I,always start off breakfast with coffee and pan dulce) sweet bread,or pastry for the fancy people. Mother asked for the pork chop breakfast plate…no refried beans,but add a side of charro beans. She has reflux with refried beans. So she asked for her plate to be removed for obvious reasons. One wait person was trying to explain but not removing the dish. She did her part in taking the order,she was ok. The cook (s) failed to do theirs !!! The second wait staff made pun of this as he/ she knows her/ mother too well. I wasn’t amused. Finally her dish is removed and a fresh one brought out..again to a bit more pun. Still not amused. We tried to enjoy our meals but the want for a nice breakfast had passed . She enjoys this place along with it’s menu…it’ll end here with my breakfast comment…,bland.

Lovely breakfast of taquito with egg a la Mexicana and coffee. Great food and great service! Multiple salsa options. Love those hand-made corn and flour tortillas! The taquitos are huge if you like that.

I brought my family here to eat and the plate I had was a freezer burnt chicken fried steak. And when I ask to reorder something else. The waitress we had waited until my family had finished eating to come back and take my order so I didn’t get to eat with my family. I’m so upset that the service was unprofessional and she didn’t think that she was in the wrong. It seems if you fully don’t speak Spanish you don’t get good service there.

Stopped in for breakfast, from the tortillas to the eggs Everything was perfect. The waitress even made sure to say thank you for stopping by. If you get the chance and are on the port side of corpus, make sure to stop in.

Toatl price is way over the menu price, yes they have a sign at the register but they should place stickers over the menu prices with correct prices.

I absolutely love this place. Food is always good. And the tacos and the plates have a good amount of food and in my opinion it’s cheap. Depending on what kind of tacos I get the pay no more than $4 and the tacos are HUGE. Highly recommend them.
