First off, I’m no expert in Mexican food and I don’t have that much experience. That being said the food tasted very authentic and was very tasty. For the street tacos, some lime and cabbage would have been great. But even without they were very tasty and they didn’t skimp on the meat. The home made salsa was the perfect amount of spicy and also had fresh veggies in it. The seafood tacos were especially nice and had lots of toppings. I would love to come back here again when we’re on the area. Although it’s in the downtown area, there’s lots of parking which is a good plus.

Good basic burrito. I ordered a regular sized chicken burrito. It was good sized, plenty for a big lunch. Meat, rice, beans, done. Red and green salsa were good. Both had good flavor, red was hotter but not super hot. Service was fast.

I just used La Fogata to cater a birthday party, and had a great experience. We had around 20 adults and 15 kids. Communication was great; food and prices were great. They delivered directly to the site of the party, which was also super helpful! I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a casual catering option!

La Fogata is my FAVORITE place to stop for Mexican food in The Dalles. They have amazing portion sizes, reasonable prices, and the quality of the food is beyond all others. It’s a taco truck so there is outside seating at picnic tables, or you can get it and take it home. They also offer delivery with doordash.

Have been here a few times and the food has been good so giving 3 stars. However, today I ordered a chicken burrito and recieved a bean and beef enchilada. What the heck?! I didn’t open the bag until I got home unfortunately. I couldn’t even eat the thing. It is as so soggy and well, not good at all!
