at la kilena here at Brownsville on old port Isabel, they had mess up my order so I went back because the tortilla was all burn and I wanted a refund but the cashier said that the owner said she doesn’t give refunds back so then I told them okay just do my order again but make sure it’s right so then they did my order again and then guess what, I found a roach on my tortilla. It’s messed up how the owner gets mad just for asking a refund that she never gives a refund and then for her kitchen to have Roaches in your food how I see this they did it on purpose just for asking a refund

They are no longer $2.99, but 12.99. Went up $10 in a few months. Tacos now only include the bistec alone. If you want all the extras you’ll have to pay anywhere from $5.00 to $10.00 more. Frijoles are now $6.99 each and 10.99 if you want them loaded.

The food was good not great but the prices are no longer 2.99 but $ 3.99 and there are some things to know on that special. 1) when you order that special you can’t ask to put the cilantro, onions and cheese on the side [makes no sense], 2) if you didn’t catch it on 1st point well it comes with no avocado the tacos [with avocado price is $5.99]. Place is a bit run down but not too bad and last the service is ok at best. So to wrap it up, if you are in a tight budget and don’t care for avocado in your tacos I think I would still recommend as the flavors are decent. On the plus side I liked they had beef fajita tacos but a bit pricey at $8.99 and they over cooked the fajita. Now you know and hope my review helped you decide to checked them out or not.

I used to like this place but I found baby cockroaches in my tacos , I told the person, instead of giving me a refund , the person in there that was in charge told me he would only get give me the tacos that I didn’t eat new , who knows if I ate roaches but I will never go again to this place after I experienced this .
