My husband and I love going here on Sundays for tacos, they are the best we’ve had. Previously we were hooked on another restaurant however after coming here they are the best authentic place. Their homemade guacamole, made to order, is amazing, the best around!!

Usually, excellent food and service. I placed an in-person take-out order. I requested two burritos – one ground beef and one steak. I come home and both were steak. When I returned to get the correct burrito order, they claimed by me saying “beef” and “steak” the cook assumed both were steak. Their menu even differentiates between “beef” and “steak”. Nothing to make the order right other than making the correct order. I didn’t even get to keep the steak burrito I brought back to show it wasn’t ground beef.

I went with this place because of the high reviews. I ordered three beef tacos and it comes with rice and beans. Got a flan and tres leche to see how good it is, since the place has great reviews. However, I was severely disappointed with the food, the rice was scattered round the to go box as if it was just an after thought, they weren’t very seasoned, the cilantro was more like parsley, no cilantro. The flan, I’ve never in my life been to a restaurant where the flan looks like soup in a to go box, I had to take a picture of it because again, in no other state or restaurant have I seen flan look like this (no manches) . The tres leche cake was more like just a cake and no leche. Severely disappointed and severely over priced if this the type of food that you get, granted they were friendly and polite but it no way I would recommend or go back.

Great authentic tasting south of the border cuisine. I had the steak asada which I thought was excellent, and my wife had the steak fajitas that she also enjoyed. The service was good and like I said, the food was great, but they were a little stingy with the chips and salsa. They do not have hot sauces on the tables either. I will definitely like to try them again.

Okay, so every Mexican restaurant in the area has about the same food with about the same ingredients. Not so here! Dear lord the food was unique and tasty and amazing. Seriously in a league of its own in the chippewa Valley. Also very inexpensive for the quality and sheer volume of food. There’s also a small Mexican grocery store in the restaurant. I cannot tell you how long I’ve waited to find a place like this.

Eau Claire has a plethora of Mexican restaurants, so I wouldn’t so bold as to declare any place as “the best”, but this place is my favorite. The burritos are AMAZING. I had the tacos today. We usually do carry out. The menu has been modified through the years, but I can still order my faves, even if not on the menu. The dine in experience is simple, with attentive service, Mexican beer and margaritas.
