We went for lunch today. I got the La Tapatia burrito plate. When you sit down they bring you a basket of chips, these chips are a mix of the corn tortilla chips and flour tortilla chips. Chips are crisp and fresh and the salsa taste fresh and has a nice warmth to it. The burrito was large and had all the fillings I requested on it and covered with cheese and gravy. and the Barbacoa that I chose was tender.

It is not on the menu, but I got soft tacos with shrimp and grilled onions and avacado. Soooo good. The shrimp are large they give you a good amount . In fact , I should have ordered just 1 taco. They are grilled just right, as were the onions. I did ask for flour tortillas and got corn, and I asked for no cilantro and got it anyway , but overall, it was so good , I just kept them. The chips were warm, and the salsa was good. I usually get water with lunch , especially in this heat, and I like the fact it is in a big glass , that I don’t run out as quick.

Wonderful Mexican food! The tortillas are homemade. Probably the best corn tortillas I have ever eaten. The refried beans are amazing, margaritas are good and the beef fajitas are tender. Be patient the staff doesn’t speak the best English but they are very nice and helpful. The food was a very large portion! I think the fajitas for 2 could have been for 3 or 4.

Wow. I’m from Philly so I am not any sort of expert on Mexican food, but this place was top notch. Posole soup was amazing. The accompaniments were fresh and well presented. Also had the Barbacoa taco and the Tripa taco. Both were really nice. I need to mention the Habanero sauce they bring to the table. Not sure if it is house made, but it is incredible. So fruity with perfect heat level.

I had the migas and my wife chose the spam and eggs (she misses Hawaii). Absolutely delicious. The refried beans were a little different and we loved them. There are so many Mexican restaurants in Corpus but this is one you shouldn’t miss.

First time. Great customer service!!!Waiter lady’s were great!!! Posole was good and it came with all the toppings. Green creamy salsa was very good!! The only thing I didn’t like was that they cook the oregano into the menudo and posole and it should be a condiment.

As soon as we seated a waitress approached us with a bowl of chips and cheese dip…the cheese dip was AMAZING!!! I ordered a small menudo, my son got a chicken quesadilla. Both plates were great! The location is clean, big parking lot, friendly waitress, fast service, affordable prices!
