Their food is very good and usually the service too, but I’m vegetarian, I asked for a sope (which is $3.75 with your choice of meat) with no meat and they said they would have to charge me $1.50 extra for leaving the meat out. I was visibly upset and canceled my order because it didn’t make any sense to pay more for less so the cashier went to ask the owner and they came to our table and offered to make it for the regular price. I understand its unusual to ask for no meat but restaurants should cater to a variety of customers. I thank the nice cashier that went out of her way to make everything right for me. The rest of the family enjoys their tacos de cabeza and consome.

The dish to order here is the Cajun Shrimp Pasta and the yummy fruit waters. That is the best plate on the menu. Tacos are good according to my Mexican husband . we have tried several other meals here and it was only okay nothing to come back for. I keep coming back for the variety of fruit waters and the Cajun shrimp pasta. Yummy. The girl that takes our order everytime at the register is very nice.

Food is amazing best hispanic food in the area hands down. Very ma and pap type restaurant. You do not come here for the atmosphere you come here for the best authentic hispanic food that instantly transports you to central America with each bite.

I ordered a bean and cheese burrito. Took ten minutes. Cost me 10 dollars. Taste like mold.

The food was okay (3/10) but the restaurant was very dirty with ants, flies, and other bugs. Also the bathroom doesn’t have a lock so people can just walk in… wouldn’t recommend

To be quite honest, it feels like there’s an inconsistency at this location. Leaning more towards good than bad but still. First time ordering here, I did not like my food. Tortilla was dry regardless of being soaked in sauce, the contents felt dry, it was overall dry. Now, the second time I went there, the food I received was absolutely delicious! The tortilla was still on the dry side but fresh enough to be able to cut through and hold contents close without it falling apart. The sauce they used was excellent and their meat was fair so drastic change from before. The third time I had food here, it was ok. It just seems like a specific kind of Mexican food here. Definitely along the lines of homemade where it reminds me of our family’s homemade dishes but leaning towards the food my aunt made versus the food my mom made…if that makes sense lol. I’d say it’s worth giving this place a shot since I believe in supporting small businesses but you be the judge.

Staff was amazing and very friendly. The food is very mild and lacking flavors. If your an Amarican that loves Mexican food but hates the heat. This place is a 5 star restaurant.
