This is near the top of my worst dining experiences. The tacos were just ok. They were only $1.50 each so they are hard to complain about. The tortillas were prepped on the griddle, but not long enough for my liking. They were mushy and greasy but they didn’t fall apart. I got asada and pastor tacos. The asada tasted like beef but it was mush. It started out as chunks of steak but I guess it had been cooked too much. The texture was just all wrong. The pastor meat was cooked better. It was just ok, not bad but not great. Then there’s the tamal. This was the worst excuse for food I’ve ever had. The attached pic is what I saw as soon as I opened it. There was a small husk that the masa and meat were placed on top of and then it was all wrapped tightly in the foil to cook. None of the moisture could escape so it was all just mush. It had the consistency of grits with meat. It was awful. Not only was the texture wrong, the taste was bad. I tried my hardest to finish it but just couldn’t do it. I ate maybe a third. I had high hopes for this place. I drive past here occasionally for work but never had the time to stop. I was in town today on a weekend and excited to try it. Wish I never stopped.

Very expensive. Rather dirty: kitchen appeared to be very dirty. Bathrooms were terribly messy. Plenty of similar restaurants with better facilities and much lower prices! Don’t recommend!

The restaurant was very dirty with food stuck on the menus and nothing appeared to of been wiped down in ages, the server was very rude and offered little knowledge of things offered when asked questions and seemed “bothered” when asked for items needed for the meal. Also I was shocked when I learned they didn’t offer hard shell tacos or hamburger meat for burritos or fajitas as on option, I thought I went out to eat Mexican food tonight but it seems it lacks a lot of the expected items you usually find on menus at authentic Mexican restaurants. Very disappointed with this restaurant to say the least because I had been looking forward to trying out this place for some time now !

My second time ordering from here. First time the tacos were good but while waiting for them to be prepared I listened to the ladies and two gentleman that were eating there talk about me in Spanish thinking I did not understand. Thought I’d give them another chance ordered a torta with chips and salsa menu says $6 for torta $2 for chips. I was charged over $18. I won’t be back and will be going back to Zoyate from now on where I can get the same thing with much more meat and french fries for half the price!!
