One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the state. My go-to stop after a long day a shopping at Jungle Jim’s. Be brave and try the tripe and tongue tacos, they are awesome (middle two in the photo here). Great presentation, great tortillas. Great tortas as well (fairly hard to find in this state).

Don’t be deterred by where this place is located. We took a chance for lunch and were very happy we did. The staff is very nice and the food was fantastic. You can even watch the tortillas being made inside the restaurant by a woman who has clearly perfected the art. Everything was very good and very authentic. I loved all the pottery that they were using to serve alcoholic drinks in. I didn’t get to see one up close and personal but I saw them on other tables and as decoration around the restaurant. They also have bottled drinks, as well as fountain drinks. The restaurant was pretty crowded at lunch, so I can imagine that it’s very popular for dinner.

The flan was fantastic in texture, flavor, and presentation. They ruined it by putting chocolate on it. If you order flan get it with no chocolate.

Hands down the best food I ever had. The customer service was on another level. I went after getting a bad test score on an important exam and by time I left I was literally dancing. Absolutely amazing. But only if you like real Mexican food don’t go if u put shredded cheese on your tacos. Take your behind to Taco Bell

Terrible service and we was their only customers. Finally got 2 of our 3 lunch entrees. Very bland, salsa tasted like it was made with ketchup. 40 minutes before 3 meal arrived. We refused it and requested our bill. Over charged, had to get menu to show the prices. I love Mexican food, it’s my favorite, but this was a terrible experience.
