Was searching for Taquerias on the way back from Golden Gate Bridge and found Los Mayas close by. Went in around 2PM on a Tuesday and found a nice table in the corner. You order and pay at the counter and they call out your name when your order is ready. Really loved the Quesadilla (huge, very filling) and Tostada tacos, the Margarita cocktail was pretty good too. People I went with ordered tacos al pastor and chicken and they loved them too. One side of nachos comes free with every order, we ordered guac separately though, which was delicious. Really cool place, would love to try more dishes when I’m the city next time. Service was pleasant and fast.

We shared a bunch of tacos; Pollo Molteleno, Pollo Verde, Al Pastor, Carnitas, and Carne Asada. Everything was well cooked, well seasoned, and the homemade corn tortillas were great. They have a free salsa bar and your order comes with free tortilla chips. Tacos are large for $5 each and we both found 2 tacos to be a filling lunch. Highly recommend!

Stopped by for breakfast. Picked up two burritos and micheladas. The drinks were huge and burritos were hot off the grill. Plus, they had a salsa stand… we love hot sauce and endless quantities, so yeah 5/5

Great food, great service. I’ve had their burritos and the chicken with mole platter. The burritos are well portioned and the flour tortilla is excellent. The chicken with mole was also tasty and it comes with tortillas on the side for DIY tacos (or rip up the tortilla and pick up the food that way if you really want to eat the good way). The churros are also a nice treat.

Mexican food is one of our favorite cuisine. We ordered vegetarian and chicken salad tacos. Can’t recall the exact name of the dish but it was amazing. Basically a huge crispy fried taco filled with black beans, guacamole, romaine, cucumber, tomato, pickled onion, mango slices, queso fresco and sour cream dressing. And chicken taco bowl stuffed with grilled chicken, veggies & sauces. Highly recommended!!

Best plantain burrito in town. I’ve taken so many friends here and everyone enjoys it especially that plantain burrito! They also have a great salsa bar so make sure you pick up some chips!

Went for the Birria but they were out. Everyone got something different but all 4 items were great. Burritos were huge! Taco combo plates ended up with leftovers. I had a cooler in my trunk and the scooped us a bunch of ice so our food would be good for the 2 hour drive home. I’ll be back for sure.

Best Mexican places in the Richmond district! It’s really good quality of food my mom and I shared a empanadas plate there is 2 per order and sides. I was full after one glad we shared it. I think the food is fresh and it is so good. I want to try other dishes when I come back
