This place was only convenient to me because I work like a few blocks away. At first, this place was ok at best. It’s definitely Mexican American based and not authentic Mexican. There food is overpriced and bland and it only got worse after each visit. Their prices online versus at the restaurant are very different which leads me to believe that they’re purposely scamming people out of a few dollars. If you want bland, overpriced “food” with a side of shadiness, this place is for you.

Do not come here. First their online prices aren’t updated and when I got to the store the price was much more than what I anticipated. When I told them about their prices they said their tech guy had supposedly updated them online and I asked well when do we expect the new prices to be reflected? They didn’t have an answer and started stuttering. I had placed my order over the phone and they said to come in 15 min. I arrived at that time and I noticed the owner turned to the cook who wasn’t doing anything to remind him about my order and saw he basically rushed my order. I had to salt these bland tacos when I got back to my job, 0 flavor and 0 service. If you want Americanized tacos sin sazon, this is your best bet.

Small taqueria but big in flavor. Food is authentic, salsas are good. Green salsa is spicy. They serve alcohol too! If you’re looking for good Mexican food this is the place to go.

Beware of when they offered Tampiquena steak thats $15 charge only for steak. When the tampiquena plate is $16. And i only wanted chilaquiles with egg and steak. For less $15.it turn out to be 13+ 15.sad customer. I known this restaurant since Bensenville.

Their sauces were delicious and had flavors I haven’t noticed at other places. They use ElMilagro tortillas, which are my favorite, so they get bonus points for that. They fry their chips in lard, so some points subtracted. They have a pretty broad and full menu. Food was good. Service was good. A solid choice for Mexican food. Pictured are their Enchiladas Verdes. The enchiladas are hidden under the lettuce and avocado!
