We saw the reviews and had no idea the food truck was behind the Thirsty Penguin. We went tonight and had the chips and ranch dip and beef and pork tacos. Both were great. We will be going back. The menu is small they said but will expand as the business grows. They have only been there about a month Jackie said. Sometimes you juat want to eat and chill outside and not do the reasturant thing. Five Stars.

BY FAR, the best tacos in the area. Don’t be fooled by the modest truck, this food is made fresh with love. The owners are so welcoming and the prices are fair for the portions. I’ve definitely paid more for lesser tacos. The meat, salsa, and frescas are all freshly made and tastes like it. If you’re looking for authentic and delicious tacos close by, this place is it!!

It probably hasn’t been all but 30 minutes since we picked up our breakfast tacos from here and I’ve got to say WOW. I’ve been on the hunt to find my new taco place since moving here and while others are good, these are THE BEST tacos I’ve ate since moving here. Their salsa verde is honestly the best I’ve had in so long, my new favorite place in town, can’t wait to go back!

Hold on to your hats ladies and gentlemen, a new taco player has entered Liberty Hill that has officially dethroned Boomers and Texas Taco Kitchen. I had the pleasure of enjoying TMRJ’s tacos this evening and wow they were everything I expected and more! The flavors of the Al Pastor and Beef Fajitas were explosive yet balanced. This is my go to taco spot from now on and I urge you to do the same because this place is no joke! The owners were extremely friendly and willing to conversate which goes a long way with me. I have been waiting 5 years for a new, fresh taco joint/truck and have been constantly disappointed by boomers as of late (quality issues) and Texas Taco Kitchen is expensive and not worth the price for bland food. Do your tastebud’s a favor and come experience this place for yourself.
