Saw some review of Don Efren’s Taqueria Micheladas when we were in town so we decided to check it out. The food was very tasty and the service was superb. My son was wearing an LA dodgers hat and the owner told us that they were from LA. That explained the very authentic flavors and prep of the food. Highly recommend!

If I could give this place more than five stars I would. If you are looking for flavorful authetic cuisine look no further, because you’ve found it here. Hands down the best tacos I’ve had since my best friend’s wife introduced me to real authetic tacos when I visited California. If I could have fit more food in my stomach I would have eaten my way through the whole menu. Even my boyfriend (who is just starting to appreciate foods outside of his normal comfort zone) was blown away. I can’t wait to go back. If you’re hungry and you’re in the area don’t pass it up!

This is a hidden gem. The owner was so kind and accommodating. They didn’t have queso on the menu, but they made some for us. The portions were huge, but the food was average. I asked for one steak and one chicken enchilada, for which they gave me two chicken enchiladas. Without me having to say anything, our waitress (who I think was the owner) brought out 2 steak enchiladas to go, which was extremely nice of her. Unfortunately, they did not appear to have a fountain machine, so when we got water, it was in bottle. We were so thirsty and refills weren’t really an option unless you wanted to buy more bottles. Overall, good experience.

Genuine Mexican food in ample portions. Menu is simple but covers all the basics and several hard to find items such as posole’ (see photo) too. Atmosphere is adequately cultural without the overkill of a chain restaurant. Staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful and they had a nice selection of genuine chili/hot sauces (warning – the black one is very hot – and flavorful!). The place to go if you want the real thing!

I have a hard time finding real authentic Mexican food. I have just tried their food and it’s ok not the best. I will give then another try. NEED MORE VARIETY, I NEED SOMETHING DIFFERENT LIKE AUTHENTIC CLASSIC DISHES, NO TEX MEX FLAVOR BUT LIKE A HOME COOK MEAL JUST LIKE GRANDMA COOKING !
