Casual concept. Good food , just little too salty for my taste but very good flavors. Order at bar and food comes to the table. Staff is super nice and helpful. Nice outdoor seating. Very casual. Little $$ for a order at counter type restaurant. Overall nice experience.

I’m far from an authority when it comes to Mexican food, so I don’t bring any baggage to the debate about what Mexican food should be.

You NEED to go to @taqueriamorita ASAP! The fresh Mexican food is so delicious and doesn’t leave you with the “need to be rolled out of here” feeling! They are located in @winslowstable for dinner Wednesday – Saturday!

Every bite of everything here was amazing, as were the cocktails. Is it more expensive than your average taco joint? Absolutely. But, you get what you pay for, and in this case that means heavily elevated tacos and Mexican fare. There’s really no comparison I’ve found in STL.

First, I’d say to the reviewers who are complaining about high prices…..WHAT are you talking about? This is not gross slop from the countless El Maguey restaurants in town and it shouldn’t be compared to this price point. When you eat here, you are eating at a Michelin-starred restaurant (if the guide came to St Louis), that is relaxed, not at all pretentious, that makes some of the best food in St Louis. The meat and fish tacos and apps are all very good, but the veggie ones – asparagus tostada and smoked beet tacos (I’m not a vegetarian) are next level. I can’t recommend this place enough.

What a treat! A perfectly E•L•E•V•A•T•E•D taqueria experience. Each element was expertly crafted & clearly scratch made. Recommend stand out dish on a hot evening…the melon & cucumber starter! Wow! Certainly not your everyday taco joint. Taqueria Morita is in a category of its own on the STL scene! Great date night!

I’ll keep this pretty simple. Best tacos I’ve ever had in St Louis! The braised pork tacos were great. The Fish tempura tacos were even better. But the Potato and Rajas Taquitos were unreal! Not to mention, vegan (I was surprised). The sauces were all wonderful, and beautifully complemented the dishes. Go eat here!!!

This is a mediocre taco shack with sleek LA branding that charges literally DOUBLE what other comparable and superior taco restaurants charge in the city.

So delicious! We ordered the watermelon salad which was super refreshing, the elote which was grilled to perfection and not over dressed, and the carrot and mushroom tacos. Everything was exceptionally flavorful and their shaded patio made for comfortable eating even in 90 degree heat. Very vegetarian/vegan friendly. Wonderful casual spot for fine dining quality food.
