Inquisitive Foodie
Today, I finally decided to test out this new taco joint. The lemonade drinks tasted exactly like traditional fountain drinks, with the pink lemonade being slightly salty. The beef empanadas were extremely oily, to the point where oil began to drip while I ate them. The quesadilla was pretty good. I’d rate it a 4/5. The tacos, on the other hand, were overstuffed with lettuce and the meat was bland. I got the beef and shrimp tacos with corn tortillas (3/5).

This place has excellent fresh and authentic Mexican food. Service is great. You can dine in at counters by the window, but is a bit tiny for that. Clean and neat though. A very good addition to Franklin Ave.

My first visit to this new taqueria in town, I tried a little of each type of filling offered. My favorites are definitely the pulled pork and the pineapple chicken – the rice is a perfect compliment. The chorizo was really delicious too and i will definitely go back! I like that they have the bowls option. Check it out 🙂
