Staff was the best part of my experience. Young lady was super sweet, very responsive. We sat out front and she came to check on us every few minutes. Food was good, I will eat there again as I work in the area. I would not drive 30 mins for it.

If you like Por Que No Taqueria, but want to avoid a line (and pay a bit less), definitely check this place out. Everything was well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, and affordably priced. The service was friendly, accommodating and fast. This may be my new go-to meal in inner Southeast.

To be honest this place has got to be the best authentic mexican food in portland. Their menu is quite large and I haven’t tried everything but there are definitely a few stars. If you get tacos, get the tacos mexicanos, and for meat either the steak or chorizo. For a burrito, get the one with beans, rice, cheese, sour cream and add guacamole. The flavors, texture and overall experience will blow you away. The beans and rice here are 10/10. They are authentic, however the flavor is richer and not overly salty like places such as muchas gracias. The breakfast burrito with chorizo is also outstanding. I would say this place is 10 times better than most fast casual mexican restaurants in Portland.

Friendly, courteous staff, not too long wait for food, maybe 5 minutes give or take a few? Hey, if you want faster, go to tb! Plus, I had just ordered seconds before lunch crowd came in. Food was good, I ordered the fish taco on flour tortilla, which I was later told that it is recommended by one staff to get fish taco with corn tortilla. Mine were still very good. We also got side order of rice with beans, chips and salsa, and I also got a chicken taco crispy shelled. I was disappointed that there wasn’t flavor in the sauces and I didn’t care for their red sauce. That is the reason for the 4 stars. That’s just personal preference, I will go back and I do recommend this taqueria.

The burritos were 2 inches of folded over tortilla and massively understuffed. Sour cream forgotten in both. The flautas were filled in the middle 2 inches with 4 more inches combined on either end with no filling. The meat is also way too salty. The green sauce was good at least.
