Few places in the city you can get Goat Birria. Served on the weekend, was a able to split it and had left overs to take home. Came with tortillas/salsa/cilantro/onions/limes all for under $20. Can’t go wrong with one of their super burritos. Great hours too

So spacious and high-ceiling that is resembles a neat , rustic church located south of the borders( wall are strewn with superb paintings; perfect for large get-togethers and solid vegetation options, need to come her again for confession, salvation and tacos

Hands down one of the best places to grab some tacos, burritos or a burrito bowl in the Bay Area! We have been coming to this places for years anytime we are in San Francisco and it never disappoints. I highly recommend the horchata!

I had their super burrito al pastor and it was BOMB, best al pastor I’ve had in a long time! The flavor was just on point. Chips were extra but not expensive and they were good, their green salsa was good too. The restaurant was spacious and they had an outdoors space in the back, bathrooms were clean.

Thought this place was great. They have a trompo. Carnitas and Al Pastor were both super flavorful and had some good crispy bits. Salsa was great. They’ve been around a long time and you can tell they really have all the details down and just deliver consistently. Good value too.

One of the best mexican place in mission. Ordered cabeza burritos and tacos they were tasty and jucy. Service was quick and staff were friendly. They also had a great patio on the back so you could take your dog too.

One of my favorite all time Mission Street stops is Taqueria San Jose. The Taqueria has been open since 1980 and during this time the Taqueria has become a local favorite because of the food and safe interior. My favorite items are the Pollo Asada Tacos. I always treat myself to both the soft tacos and hard shell tacos. I am always satisfied with the juicy marinated chicken. When you bite into a taco you will taste the flavors of lime, spices, cilantro, red onions, garlic, and tomato. This mix is the epicurean 4th of July. If you are near 24th/Mission, give Taqueria San Jose a try.

Don’t overlook this place just because they don’t get heavy marketing and hype like the other Taquerias on Mission Street. Locals know this is the spot to get the best Mexican food without fuss. Above all, the staff is friendly to everyone not just tourists. I love their menudo, tacos de lengua, and you can’t go wrong with a fixed plate. They have a huge private outdoor patio in the back with heaters.

This place is awesome. The food is amazing and I’m always stoping here when I swing by Frisco. The horchata is made in house and tastes great. It’s not that’s nasty bagged powder horchata that you add water to. Try this place eat at the outdoor patio in the back. It’s very quiet. you won’t be disappointed

As a new immigrant in SF this was the first Taqueria where I learned what a burrito was. Just a complete meal with delicious ingredients wrapped in a tortilla, and as a companion nothing better than aguas frescas, made on the premises. This taqueria is still around in the Mission District.
