This taco truck is my favorite. As a truck driver, I get around from San Diego County to San Luis Obispo. I look forward to visiting Silvas when in the Santa Maria area. Lots of parking for cars and trucks. Very kind smiling people with great service. The prices are also the best. The food, especially my favorite, the Silvas burrito is by far the best burrito—EVER! It’s like music to my taste buds. Call them in advance to beat the crowd. This is a favorite of the locals too. They take credit cards and cash. The food is always fresh and sits well in the stomach. That’s something that not all food trucks can brag about. We truckers talk and Silvas is a truckers friend.

I have eaten Mexican food my entire life, all over the country and the world. The Al pastor here is best ever, hands down. It is done on a spit with a pineapple at the top. Dripping with goodness. I have never had better Al pastor. it is juicy, moist, flavorful, perfectly seasoned. It’s even good the next day when i reheat it. Hands down. This taco truck is the very best. I’ve tried so many in town and with that said once only, never again. Says allot. Taqueria Silva taco truck is the best try it once and you will continue to go back. I love that their clean and wear gloves when cooking and serving.
