We got Asada and pastor tacos great flavor/ texture & salsa is on point. BUT portion size is crazy!! If I pay $15+ for 4 tacos I expect to be full by the end of it. It’s disappointing to get a tiny taco that can be finished in 3 bites. When you think of good Tex mex you think of big tacos that you’ll be left satisfied with. Opening these tacos to see a small portion of meat & a tiny sliver of avocado is just sad. Please do better, again flavor is ON POINT always but due to portion size is why people will think twice about going here.

The food is fantastic. Good portions I think. The home made sauces are spicy but very good. The green sauce is the hotter of the two. But good as well. Food was served hot and fresh. Will definitely eat here again. Yummy!

Walked over from the TA this morning (12-13-2022) to get a breakfast burrito. The smell was intoxicating and the local Latino community was lined up in front of me to order, I lived in Arizona long enough to know this was a good sign. I ordered two chorizo burritos because I wanted to have one left for tomorrow. I was a little surprised by the price (almost $20.00) but I don’t eat out often so maybe things have changed. They allow you to tell them what’s in the burrito rather than just a standard which was nice. I was more than happy when I grabbed the bag and felt the weight once they were done. I got the salsa verde and walked balk to my truck to eat. OMG!!! The burrito was fantastic and the salsa verde was even better. I drive all over the country and very few places understand that even green sauce should be spicy but they nailed it here. I will never go past this place without stopping unless I absolutely have to.

Absolutely the best Alpastor tacos I’ve eaten. And I’m a Mexican food connoisseur. $3 per taco for the best Alpastor is a price I’m happy to pay. On your way down 35, stop at the TA and come across the street and give them your business. They’re absolutely worth the walk.

Hands down the freshest, most delicious breakfast burrito I’ve had here in NB. The chorizo egg and potato burrito was . Not too greasy, which I normally see with chorizo, but packed with flavor! I may need to go back and beg for that potato recipe they weren’t crispy nor soggy they were perfect with every bite. This was my first visit but I hope this experience will remain consistent with my future visits. Will get photos next time. This time I didn’t take any. I just enjoyed every bite.

I love this place! Good value, authentic (as far as I know), and delicious! My favorite is the barbacoa burritos. The barbacoa meat is moist and tasty. Perfect ratio between lean and fat. The ingredients in the burritos are well-balanced and generous. I feel full after eating one whole burrito. They give you hot sauces on the side. All 3 are too hot for me. Also, you can buy barbacoa from them on Saturdays.

Ever since we have found this place we have stopped. We have tried lots of Mexican food here in tx and this is the best by far. To top it off it’s by a truck stop so food for us truck drivers. Only downside is they are only open for breakfast and lunch.
