Great authentic Mexican food! I’m from Arizona, and it’s been hard to find a mex restaurant I’m satisfied with, and this one is legit. No frills inside, and they seem to cater more to takeout, but there are a few tables to sit at and eat if you want to. Very nice staff.

They are too short staffed to run their place. They’re not able to answer the phone today so I went in to place an order. I waited 15 minutes for some rice and beans. I was given a container with beans spilling out the side of it, and not near the portion they usually serve. I like their food, but I cannot return for this low level of service.

Placed a takeout order in the restaurant. Got home and was completely the wrong order. Called for a refund and the supervisor was giving me the runaround, apparently the supervisor can’t give a refund without the owners approval.

Authentic Mexican cuisine, large portions, awesome guacamole and chips. I never had milk cake before but it was amazing! Take a trip a few miles off the main drag and find this place before you leave Traverse City.

Great food! My husband and I definitely had leftovers, but the wet burrito and enchiladas were both great! Tres leches cake was tasty as well. Good sized portions, very inexpensive- definitely worth a visit!

Pass up all the snooty, overpriced, hipster food in town and eat some real food made by good folks. Best tortas I’ve had. Carnitas tacos are amazing. The prices, for the amount of food and quality you’re getting are at least ⅓ too low. TC has a real gem here, suport this business.

This was the best Mexican food I’ve had since leaving California 12 years ago. Everything was so good. We tried the fish taco plate as well as the asada taco plate and asada nachos. Top notch and super authentic. Can’t wait to return next time we are in Traverse City.
