I had delicious breakfast tacos here 3 days ago (first visit). So today, I decided to try their lunch menu and was pleasantly surprised. First, 4 types of salsa with tortilla chips were provided as I reviewed the extensive menu. I swear I could have sat there all day stuffing my face with salsa! How embarrassing would that have been? Chicken mole’ enchiladas did not disappoint so I sent photos to my son (just to make him jealous), probably shouldn’t have done that so close to Mother’s Day . One of the other patrons overheard me ordering and said I made a good choice. At the register, I saw my son’s favorite Mexican sweet bread and couldn’t resist, “maranitos” came home with me. If you want authentic salsas and Mexican food, give this place a try. They have plenty of indoor seating and a drive through if you’re caught for time. I’ll definitely be back!

Smiles. Smiles. And more smiles! Super great service. I had the carne guisada taco. The pieces of meat were very soft and tender, but I’m more of a brown carne guisada than a red carne guisada sort of guy. The picadillo taco was very good. Didn’t see any potato pieces, to me that’s the classic, but the meat was delicious. I’ll order this again! And the bean and cheese taco was also good. Overall not a magical tortilla but it definitely worked. My friend ordered the pozolle. A bit redder than either of us are used to, but my friend said they liked it. When you drive by you’ll see how long and skinny the building is… that’s how long and skinny it is inside. So when you’re choosing your seat you might want to pick something closer to the register LOL to avoid the long walk. We were pleasantly surprised by the music, there were actually some well-known English songs that someone recorded in Spanish and they were great. And at one point two young men came in with a guitar and the smaller traditional accordion and they were fantastic. Check the parking lot, cuz it gets full Fast. It looks like they’ve added some extra parking in the back and believe me they needed it. They also have a drive-thru but don’t be in a wide load truck if you can’t drive it LOL.

I give five stars to Los Jalisciences restaurant without blushing or feeling disloyal to any of my neighborhood favorites. I was greeted right away and immediately was attended by a waitress who took my drink order and within a minute of my drink being placed on the table by a smiling and friendly waitress another waitress came to leave me a menu. I ordered my usual drive thru favorite from here , the Picadillo burrito perfect driving snack size and always delicious after which I chose the Calabaza con Pollo (squash with chicken) as my meal. It was one of the three lunch special choices for 7.99 drink not included. I couldn’t have been happier. This restaurant has been in this neighborhood for many many years but it wasn’t anywhere that I frequented for no particular reason. Today’s visit brought back memories of my grandmother’s food. I didn’t add salt or hot sauce until I was half way finished to savor the flavor. It really was delicious.

Food was great, prices were fantastic. Food is, IMHO, far better than Henry’s puffy taco and other Mexican restaurants in the general vicinity. Also they serve FRESH CHIPS with 4 different sauces!!!! Love this place!

honestly me and my wife try to hit every Mexican restaurant on Bandera road. we tried this place a few years ago. they recently remodeled and it looks very good. for the first time in my life I tried queso chicken enchiladas and my wife tried nachos. we enjoyed our meal very much. I love how they serve queso dip with the chips and with 3 other dips. I’ll come here again for sure. good job.

They serve a variety of salsas with warm chips no up charge. Nice staff. I ordered bean and cheese, I could tell the beans were canned. Kind of disappointing cause lacked any flavor. I loved the salsas and tortillas though.

This is an old picture of the restaurant…this place has upgraded its seating and tables. The restaurant is very nice now. My food was very good. My husband’s was excellent…he had a T-bone plate. Food was overall 5stars. Service was very good. I highly recommend this place. I will always try it 3 times to recommend any place. This was my third time. They have good lunch specials as well.

Wonderful service – the menu is equally phenomenal. The varieties of salsa compliment the balanced salt and crispiness of their chips. Tortillas to die for. Ample parking. Easy access on Bandera Rd.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The tacos were nasty. The bacon was so hard I almost broke a tooth. Girl at the window didn’t understand my order at all.

Came here to buy some food from drive through. Ordered a fajita burrito and a chicken fajita torta and large tea. What I got when I got home was a vegan torta and a bean and rice burrito. The torta had very little chicken and the burrito had very little beef. The tea was okay. I would not recommend this place for anyone. Plus they serve no tacos only plates. so sad.
