I read reviews before coming to this location and i hate to say it was a disappointment. The two waiter women we got whispered so low you could hardly hear them speaking (the resturant only had 2 other tables occupied so it wasn’t a matter of noise, that they couldn’t be heard). They would just come and set the food and whisper at the lowest Voice possible if we needed anything else, but they spoke very clearly if they saw men clientel so im guessing they spoke up to who they actually want to set a good experience too. The food was decent, I personally wouldn’t come back just from the customer service we received! (Try a diffrent Taqueria Arandas, this is the 1st location that had poor service)

Had dinner with my family. And I hate to say this but our Aguas were so overly sweet we couldn’t drink them. And not only was some of the food burned but had zero flavor. We payed a decent amount and left our plates nearly full. Maybe it was just a bad night but yeah definitely not a place we look forward to dining again.

On 3/25/2022 I and my party of 2 wanted to try out the new Taqueria in town. Everything was okay until we received our bill. To my dismay and disappointment the bill came with an additional charge “Non Cash Adj of $1.00”, now to a lot of people a $1.00 is not a big deal. Out of curiosity I asked the waitress what was the extra $1.00 for and she stated she had no idea and needed to ask the manager. I observed them as they spoke about it amongst each other in a group and after going back and forth the manager finally agreed to come talk to me at my table because the waitress was unable to explain it. The manager explained that the $1.00 adjustment was for their merchant services fees being passed onto their customers. Mind boggling that this is a huge restaurant chain in Houston and they do not want to pay their own merchant services. I myself as a small business owner am aware of business merchant fees which at the most for many are .30 cents per transaction. The manager offered to remove the fee if ONLY we paid cash. We are living in the 21st century and don’t carry cash as most don’t. As a business owner I find that upsetting that a large restaurant chain are passing their bills onto their customers. If you don’t have a problem paying the $1.00 merchant services fee for using your debit/credit card awesome. But be Wary of the $1.00 merchant charge. But as for me and my party we will NEVER go back again.
