Delicious food and very friendly staff 🙂 it’s within walking distance of the Allen library so my younger brother and I come here often. They’re very kind and the owner always recognizes us when we come in. The lengua (beef tongue) tacos are my favorite and so are the enchiladas. You can also get a side of green or red sauce with everything. I highly recommend the green! We sometimes get the churros too. They’re always hot and delicious. Very generous portion sizes and affordable.

Carnitas tacos were really good! Big portions too, food came out hot and fresh. Speedy and friendly service as well!

Found this spot this second time by accident and so glad I did, I had forgotten the name of the restaurant. My kids love the food, as well. My oldest was ecstatic when we ordered from them the first time saying “Finally, real tacos!” They had his favorite, lengue.. Although they missed his specific order, this time, he still enjoyed dinner. I like that they are open later than other spots, have the type of tacos we’re more used to, and more meat options. Still 5 stars, just gotta remember to check our order, next time. We’ll be back!

Small little place in downtown Allen shocked me. The tacos were sooo good, the service very friendly and the whole restaurant had a very pleasant atmosphere. Was mouth watering good and I will be going back again especially for the steak and barbocoa.

We went to this place today for the first time and it was very good! Allen has a lot of chains and sub-par Tex-Mex offerings, so it was nice to go to a place where they serve some of the more “authentic” dishes. The only reason I rated the atmosphere at 3 is because it was really hot in there, but the place was clean and well run so don’t let that discourage you.

I don’t usually leave reviews but had to for this one. I was asked if dining in or to go and when I said done in she told me the lobby was closed. I ordered a taco plate with no beans and double rice and I got beans, instead of the double rice, no plastic ware in the bag, no salsa available after I asked for it and when I realized I didn’t have any plastic ware and tried to go back in the door was locked.

The posole soup had plenty of pork, fresh toppings of lettuce, limes, and radishes. The posole was very greasy. Good prices.

Just bought tacos from here and the advertisement is false. They claim “Trompo” but it’s not it’s just Al pastor which I am very angry because I spent $15 for what I thought I was getting and to top it off the food is sub par there’s no flavor in the meat I would not recommend or at least the pork. So beware if you don’t see the slow roaster spinning with meat piled in it’s NOT TROMPO
