The food is always fresh, service is amazing, and after living here for 4+ years I can without a doubt say these are the best tacos in San Marcos. They have their salsa BAGGED so that’s how you KNOW they’re good .

I’m a taco lover, raised in Mexico and these are the best tacos in San Marcos, the tripa taco was one of the best I have tried. It’s was not chewy, it was crispy and cooked to perfection. Pastor was full of flavor, and finely chopped. Steak was well seasoned and tender. The double yellow tortillas were great and did not get soggy and did not break apart. Their green salsa is not spicy, and the red one is, great consistency and flavor on both salsas. They also have aguas frescas and the Horchata was delicious, I can tell it is made daily. The service is very fast, staffed by 4 people. Their portions were very generous and the presentation was well executed. Their price is the best thing of all, only $7.75 for 4 taquitos. I have added this place to my top 3 tacos places in Central Texas. I will be back “Taquitos La Chula”

Worst place I’ve eaten tacos at. The food and meet was cold, we asked for stuff to be added to our bill she charged us and didn’t even put it on the tacos. We asked for salted onions she said it came wit the plate and when I got my food she decided to not tell me until I asked and she said “oh we ran out”

Fresh tacos, friendly staff, 3 tables available. Food was ready promptly and delicious. We were not able to try the birria tacos, as they were not available at that time (Saturday night). Will definitely visit again during our next trip to San Marcos.

Outside food truck in the heat, but the food was worth it!!! Sat under a tree with the wind blowing, drinking huge aqua frescas! We tried melon and horchata, loved them both!! I enjoyed my chicken fajita tacos with the green salsa!!!

Just moved to the area and was just leaving CVS off Wonderworld drive. Saw the lights on the truck at the Exxon and had to stop. There were multiple people in line so figured it had to be good. Ordered the mini tacos al pastor. Totally delicious and loved the grilled onion/pepper as well as the hot red sauce and Verde sauces included. Perfect meal and perfect ending to a long week of moving!
