First time here. Had heard so much about their Tarantasaurus huge pizza. Called it in and they said 35-40 minutes, I told them no problem won’t be there for an hour. Got there and they gave me my big pizza but was waiting on a gluten free pizza. Went ahead and put the big one in the trunk and went back and waited another 10 minutes for the next one. They bring out two non gluten free pizzas saying it was ours. Come to find out they made a mistake and had given me the wrong order. We went back to the trunk and took out the pizza and brought it back in. Poor lady was there to pick up her pizzas that they had given to us watched us walk it back in and they turned around and handed it off to her with no explanation. Waited 20 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready and it finally came out.

Tried Taranto’s Pizzeria at Polaris for the first time today! The garlic cheesy bread was so perfect, in flavor, in cheesyness and the bread was perfectly toasted. We inhaled it. We then had fun making our own pizzas at the table and when they came out they were perfectly cooked and we loved the spicy sausage, the cheese and pepperoni cooked up deliciously as well and the pizza sauce reminded me of a pizza hut sweeter sauce which I prefer and it really brought the whole pizza together wonderfully. We will absolutely be back to try some of their other specialty pizzas and to get more of that cheesy garlic bread! David was our server and was super friendly and helpful as well.

I travel the Country in my RV and came upon this gem by accident. We tried the meat pizza and, being a self-appointed “pizza connoisseur”, can tell you this may be the best pizza we’ve ever experienced! The ingredients are so fresh and tasty, the sauce was awesome and the crust?….well, I’ve NEVER tasted one so good! I wanted the recipe, but, of couse….good luck with that. The new owners were so nice! She was so interested in her work and I could tell she puts a LOT of love into her product. We also tried a parm potato appetizer that was great!…never had anything like it. And my wife is still raving about the meatballs!….Whatever….I’m a pizza guy!

We scheduled ahead of time for pickup. We placed the order at 3:09pm for pickup at 6pm. Just 2 pizzas, wings and a salad, so no massive order. The order wasnt ready until 6:28pm. When we mentioned how far ahead we ordered and how late the order is, they shrugged us off and didnt care.

Taranto’s knows pizza. We tried the family favorite with hand-tossed crust, and I was blown away at how much I loved it. The consistency is my favorite part. It’s the perfect amount of sauce and cheese, and the sausage tastes delicious. A definite stop on your pizza journey. First time here, will not be our last!

We discovered Taranto’s soon after moving to the area and we were excited to try it. Once we did, we soon became regulars. We don’t always have the easiest orders as we have a family full of very picky eaters so we can be *difficult* to say the least. Taranto’s employees always do their best to make sure our somewhat complicated orders are made to our satisfaction and any time they’ve ever gotten something wrong, they never hesitate to make it right without making you feel bad about it.

What a great place! We got carry out during our stay in Columbus and it was really good. The bread sticks were huge, the buffalo chicken pizza was really good. The staff was super friendly the couple of minutes I was there. Great little pizza place!
